This may seem like an odd question, but I've heard that with CET properties you can reserve show tickets to be charged to your room before you arrive in Vegas and then picked up at will call. If you do that but you fail to pick up the tkts....are you they still charged to the room?

I do this all the time, although it's with MGM properties. At MGM they will do it for house shows, but not main event type things (at least that's my experience.) I've never not picked up a ticket I ordered, but I assume I'd be charged for it. I charge it to my room so that if I outplay my offer, I can get the ticket comped retroactively.

Thanks Mike, I've reserved tkts at MGM for Madonna....no worries there as I will definitely be picking them up. With with CET I've reserved Matt Goss tickets and now the girls I'm going with are not sure they want to see it. They would like to keep it open as an option. I'll probably just call casino services and ask but I was a bit embarassed. Also, since i posted I was wondering about Elton John. I've reserved for his show too and I hear that he has cancelled a few times. I would think in that type of situtation the charge for the tickets would be taken off the room bill.

I think most shows have a cancel policy - time is what will get you though. I wouldn't wait until the last minute to cancel.

At some point, you are gonna get charged. After all, they can not sell your reserved seat, right?

Cancelled tickets get refunded. Happened to me with the UFC fights, anyway, and that was on my credit card.
