This thread is for people who love mLife and are being treated fairly and enjoying its fine benefits.

This is a great place for mLife supporters to congregate and post their success stories of epic comps.

This should offer a nice respite from the mLife flaming threads that the minions of loyal mLife supporters surely find annoying. This is a great opportunity to move on and bypass those threads without commenting.

This will be my only post in this thread. :evillaugh

May we do a "reality check" on October 2, 2012 (the day after MLife's Big Change effective October 1, 2012)? It would be interesting in seeing how many folks are still in love with MLife! :wink2:

I have over $3,000 I can spend at MGM properties without spending a damn nickel with them again.

(I have lots of beefs too... but that is for another thread)

So, first time this mLife apologist tried to access this new thread, and it crashed my smartphone app. Beeejay, you are one wicked powerful forum guru!

USed to love them, left them for CET once comps dried up. Now they're trying to get me back with comped room offers but its too late since i'll be 7 star with CET next year my loyalty will be there.

I personally don't really think Mlife is any better or worse than any of the other major strip operators - I just like to play Devil's advocate whenever anyone complains. Yes, MGM has been good to me so far - I've only ever stayed at any of their places twice so far - both this year, both at Aria - but next trip I'm staying at Palazzo, since I've been lucky there & they've been bending over backwards to get me to stay there. After that? Maybe Aria again, maybe Palazzo again - who knows, maybe I'll even give Caesars Palace or Wynn another try - all I know is if I have a bad experience with a particular property, I move on - there's still enough choices in Vegas that there's no reason to stay with a place that made you unhappy whatever the reason - and maybe I give them another try in a few years, maybe I don't.

If you're that unhappy with how a particular chain treated you, vote with your feet - Vegas is full of choices at every level of property.

I actually like mLife very much. Any program that allows you to self-comp with a swipe of the card is good in my book. My past complaints dealt mostly with hosts and staff, not the program itself. Their website functionality can be a pain at times, but whatever. As long as I get my comps and points, I can live with that

..ok, i admit it .. i love mlife and mgm properties..

. nicest luxury hotel choices (bellagio, Mandalay Bay, mirage)
    . f/b + f/p normally comes with my 3 night offers
. have been upgraded to suites without asking several times
. at platinum, get to skip long taxi lines
. sometimes cirque show tix comes with the offers
. skipping long buffet lines a bonus
. offers the best restaurant choices except maybe the wynn/encore
. drink service has been super most of the time
. calling vip services is much easier than navigating the mlife website
. the casino and machines area sanitary clean more than most cet properties
. have gotten limos without asking when booking offers
. easy to check charges to rooms, portfolio, current point count unlike venetian
    . hot cw service ..
. vip invite desks to check-in skips cattle line at Bellagio & mirage
. eye candy lounge has free admission

. ..yeah, i'm set unless the wynn takes over .my first comp stay with them is in late oct/nov .maybe i'll be loyal to both ..?

    ..

    cheers

Anyone on here who has read my posts knows that I'm a Hotel32 fan. I switched from CET a little over a year ago. I called a host out of the blue at Monte Carlo and she offered me 3 nights comp'd right on the phone. I did give her an idea of my play but hey I could have been lying. Anyway, it has been a good relationship ever since. I'm treated very well at Hotel32/Monte Carlo and my host and her boss go above and beyond for me every time I'm in Vegas which has been 3 times a year since switching over to MLife. I used to only go once or twice a year when with CET but I enjoy myself so much better at MGM properties I go more often and my host has allot to do with my more frequent trips.

My experiences at the same property are very similar, although I only go twice a year. I honestly didn't mean to get stuck at one property, but 3 trips ago I went there and there's just been no reason to leave as they treat me very well.

I just blew 20k in comps this weekend that I've been saving for the past year. Epic weekend thanks to their fucked up IT dept that couldn't figure out how to max out the ECs at 10k like they were supposed to. Thanks mlife!

That is LAZY pecker nostress! It's very different....very different. I have my pills but don't want to abuse them and run out.

Man shifter 20K on a fiesta :drunk: :nworthy: I bet that was just sick.
I saw ya'll were going to throw down and you were planning on using your EC's up....so did they give you any crap or did it go smooth. Did you just charge everything to you and then have your host count it down from your acct?

The Mlife website is useless and my offers suck.

With that said, as long as my host is willing to comp my nights, give me some Freeplay and comp some of my food then I will stay with them even with all the changes coming to Mlife.

Ok the Mlife website sucks. I imagine this is only a temporary problem as they must be flooded with complaints.

I was a CET Diamond for 2 years. That place has gone so corporate with the bean counters, I could not stand giving them business anymore. There is virtually no personal service, and I felt as though I was treated as just another number. I also dont like that they offer 6:5 BJ hard.

As others have mentioned they own some very nice premium properties in prime locations. When I switched to Mlife, while I don't get any offers via mail, the hosts at every property always takes care of me (personal service). CET can keep their mass marketed offers. I will stick with MGM and their very good service.

I am happy I switched, and CET can keep their 6:5 BJ too.

As someone who has, IMHO, extensive experience at both chains I can honestly say MGM is a better bang for your buck (at least at my level of play).

Mlife website has had repeated problems for over a year. Nothing temporary about that.
