Several websites reported that the new Caesars Bacchanal buffet would be included in the 'buffet of buffets' promotion, but would incur a $10 supplement. It was unclear whether this was just for the dinner buffet, for every meal or to cover any Caesars buffet in the 24 hour period.

Here's the reply I got from Total Rewards:

"The $10 fee is added to the price of the Buffet of Buffets package if you want the option to dine at the Bacchanal Buffet. The fee must be paid if you want to include the Bacchanal Buffet, regardless if it's breakfast, lunch or dinner."

What is still unclear is whether the supplement has to be paid when the 24 hour pass is purchased or if it can be paid later if a customer decides to eat at Caesars.

I would assume it has to be paid at time of purchase...but I'm sure they will have a lot of people going there without already having it taken care of. Who knows how they'll handle it or if it is even possible to add it on after purchase.

My girlfriend and I will be in Vegas in 11 days. We plan on purchasing the 24 hour buffet pass. I'll see how the additional $10 works and post back here.

    Opening Date?

Have you heard a firm opening date for the new Buffet? I'll be in LV 9/29 - 10/1 and would like to try it too.

    Sounds Great

It is a multi-million dollar upgrade to their previous buffet the "Lago Buffet".
There have been links on this board that cover the highlights of the Buffet much better than I can write about here. One was Vegaschatter.com:wave:

Guess we'll find out when it opens up!

Personally, I hope they do it right...a place with Caesar's reputation and desired status needs a top tier buffet.

I wish they would give it a different name, lest the 'Bacchanal' name RIP.

I'm thinking about giving this buffet a try when I'm in Vegas in December. I hope it's better than Lago. That was a big letdown for me.
