Has anyone on the board tried to book a 1 bedroom skyloft recently through the fine hotels program?

I was looking into getting a 1bd room w/ the possible upgrade to the 2bd room & was told that upgrades were not available any more? Also they used to give %15 off published rates w/ the plat card as well. Was told thats discontinued as well.

Has anyone tried to book recently?

    Thanks in advance

New policy in 2012 is that the SkyLofts no longer upgrade you with the Platinum Amex. They were discouraging it last year although you could still book at that time and get the spa/etc other benefits.

Just booked a 1br Skyloft through FHR, so I'm sure they will stay with the program through the end of the year when the contracts typically run out.

Understand the upgrades from 1 to 2br have been stopped, but believe they are still in. FHR rep mentioned a spa credit and "continental breakfast". Do you have any experience with how this credit for breakfast is given?

    Thanks!
