Had high hopes for the UNLV boys. Losing in triple OT. Winning on opening night at home against a Big 10 team would have been awesome. But alas it was not to be. Have to admit I was asleep by the end of the 1st qtr (being on the east coast) but was very depressed when I awoke and found out that they came so close. Looking forward to the game against Nevada. Trophy Wife and I will be there. Hope to see you there.

Sorry we defeated UNLV, the half of the stadium filled with MN fans didn't want to go gamble after a disappointment :)

Somebody had to win even if neither team really deserved to.

I made the trip out to watch the Gophers, good times were had but the football game itself did not really excite me.

None the less, it was Vegas and Vegas is always good.

glad the school prez and AD made it out there as well, crowd support was fantastic...rumor is that MN people really love Las Vegas LOL

Wisconsin does a rotating home/away game every couple of years with UNLV, didn't realize the Gophers did also.

The first year they did it, they ran out of beer at Sam Boyd Stadium. Damn WI drinkers!

There also was the infamous power failure game against UNLV, when the sportsbooks wouldn't honor winning tickets because the game was called with ~7 minutes left to play after a power failure at the stadium.
