WORST currently-running show that you've seen

Would be interested in knowing what still-running show that you absolutely hated. Please limit your replies to current ones, not those that have already closed. And not ones that you haven't actually attended. For me it would be Criss Angel BeLIEve. Both the Cirque version in the first year and the currently-running traditional magic version are awful beyond BeLIEf...

I honestly don't think I've ever seen a Las Vegas show that I didn't enjoy, really!

 

I have to say I've never attended a Vegas show where I disliked it/hated it. There were some I wouldn't go to again or didn't think were fantastic but I still thought they were okay. And there were many I loved. I've never seen Criss Angel, though. I've never seen anyone give that show a good review and I hate him just on principle because of what the Luxor did to move him in there, tearing out whole sections of beautiful Egyptian statues and such.

 

Blue Man group. I was fighting falling asleep. I would have walked out. After the show my wife says to me "i couldn't stay awake and wanted to walk out." I know others love..wasn't for us and that's ok.

+ 1 blue man group boring pretentious bulls&*t -penn and teller a close second but its all personal preferences.

 

Ka had about 5 thrilling minutes and the rest was a bore.

 

I wouldn't say "hated it" but disliked was "KA", although my kids were fascinated by it. They just haven't seen "Mystere" yet...lol

 

My wife has seen every Cirque show and preferred Ka to Mystere. I preferred Mystere. The worst of the Cirque shows to me, by far, is Zumanity.

 

Then she hasn't seen BeLIEve, right? That's Cirque....

 

I've not seen Believe and I've not seen the Elvis one.

 

Poor Viva Elvis closes forever in two days. It might just make this list by somebody.

I like that they rescue strays...but it was really pretty pathetic.

 

Blue Man Group

1. Blue Man Group both my wife and I were thoroughly disappointed. It seemed that the whole show was about shooting liquified twinkies out of tubes from their chest. Not good.

2. O My wife liked it I don't need to go back. Did not help that I paid top price for the two tickets.


Honorable Mention
Don Rickles OMG he sang and danced. Yes, sang and danced. I had no idea I thought he was a comedian. I paid money at the Desert Inn to see Don Rickles.



On the opposite end

Peepshow with Holly Madison was way better than anticipated. I expected absolute garbage. Before the show, I had Holly Madison up there with Lindsay Lohan and Kim Kardashian. Things I don't want to see, EVER.
I would even be willing to see PEEPSHOW again but I would want to sit at a front table. it probably helped that my friends bought me a ticket and invited me.

I would like to change my mind "Please" lol! from KA to Viva Elvis, that show was worse than KA, JMO! I have to say, on our last trip to Vegas this past June, we were given some literature on the new show Zarkana, that show is on my "to see list" I hope this link works, as I'm not good at copying and pasting, but here goes. I hope it works, if not hopefully someone else can post it.

Gotta go with Criss Angel, BOOOORRRRRING and he is so self important it makes me wanna .

 

I know I'm gonna get slammed for this one, but we really disliked Absinthe. Just didn't care for it. (Ok, I'll duck now)
