I just received an offer on my Mlife account for free airfare and room from Beau Rivage. The offer states the following:

Complimentary round trip airfare for two.
Shuttle service to and from the airport.
    Deluxe city view hotel accomidations.

I have never been to the Gulf Coast or near it. I was planning to bring $5k to play $100 per hand of midi-baccarat for 3 days. Is Beau Rivage a nice casino/area? Will it be worth my time playing baccarat there? Will my play be sufficient to receive offers in the future? I don't want to go and not play "enough".

Beau Rivage is the nicest casino in Biloxi. Many people call it a mini Bellagio.
I've been on four of those trips, play much less than $100 a hand, and
    keep getting offers.

Just wanted to add I can't comment on baccarat, I spend most of my time
    at $10.00 craps tables.

it's not Vegas, but it's pretty nice. better than any of the other non-Vegas casinos that's for sure. they just redid the Bacc tables and now they have 2-3 midi tables and 4-5 mini tables. before they only had 1 midi table and 3 mini. they still have one midi table in the HL room, but it's never open and nobody ever plays there even when it is open. i heard something about a bad luck table? the 1 time i played there i got killed, so i think everybody else feels the same way and that's why nobody plays there anymore.

they added the screens that show you the road in the latest remodel, but unfortunately they only show you the big road. the 3 Asian roads aren't on there. :( i think that's pretty stupid, but somebody sold them on that system instead of the one that everybody in Vegas uses. :(

You won't be disappointed. The only problem I have with the place is I find their food to be bland and unseasoned.

We love the Beau. Yes, a mini Bellagio in many respects. Steak House and Asian are awesome. Buffet is just so-so. Cafe has terrible service.

    I disagree.
I love the buffet because of the cajun stuff on it and the Krispy Kreme donuts at breakfast.
These offers are great. You check your luggage at your home airport. The next time you see it is in your room an hour or so after you get to the hotel in the bus that picked you up at the airport.

That's a GREAT Offer! Take it!

You will be surprised! I like the Beau and have stayed there several times.
Not sure if it's gone downhill but I always liked the The Buffet & Terrace Cafe.
You can walk next door to the Hard Rock and if they still have it you can ride
the Casino Hopper Tram to several casinos for just a few bucks.

The last time I was there was NYE 2010.

Those are the two I'm speaking of. I was there a few weeks ago and had the Buffet on a Saturday night. There was not one green vegetable, unless you count lettuce, on the buffet. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fried food fan, but a green bean never hurt anybody either.

No matter, what one person finds hot, another finds mild.

Certainly won't stop me from going when they send me a free flight!

Thank you for your replies. By the way, does the Beau serve complimentary drinks for those who are gambling like Vegas?

You betcha! Good service too. Friendly. Everyone is friendly.

Hard Rock is the second best casino in the area and it's only a five minute walk.

I was at the Beau in 2004, Pre-Katrina. It was a beautiful place then, I bet it is 100 times nicer now.

actually the rooms are a little long in the tooth now. not bad, but kind of like Bellagio before their reno this year. they've been remodeling the casino the past few months and hopefully they'll do the rooms soon, but i'm not holding my breath.

will be plenty. the comp values at the Beau are way less than anything in Vegas. it's only like a $175 avg required for a big suite. those airfare/basic rooms offers can be had at the green chip level. you should have no problem getting all your F&B picked up as well at the end.

Oh so true! Though I prefer the pickled variety in their bloody marys!

Do I just give them my Mlife card and charge everything to my Mlife account?

I'll chime in and say we like the Beau also as a nice alternative when we can't get to Vegas. Not sure I'd enjoy a long stay there but a long weekend is nice. I've found the service to be hit or miss in general and we aren't fans of the food there. Hard Rock has better food options and I'd say it's a 5 minute walk if you are slow..lol. Also, Boom Town casino near by (via shuttle) has an AWESOME seafood buffet (fri/sat I thing) with some killer dungenous crab!

About 3 years ago we started recieving the flight offers from them. We are out of Houston and they use Frontier air if I remember correctly. It's a really cool deal because the whole plane is chartered for the Beau, drinks are free on the plane ride there, your luggage is checked all the way to the room, and you check In at the bus level checkin desk and circumvent the front desk. They even had copies of our players club cards already in the packet they handed us. Based on the things people have said here I'd call us micro rollers (otherwise I'd say low) and our offers didn't dry up till we went a long time without going.
