Does anyone have any recomendations for a single person on or near the strip. I love to dine at high eand restaurants and don't mind dropping a $100 on a nice dinner and drinksfor one at a bar but wanted to ask if there are any bargains out there that I might think about.

    Any advice would be appreciated

    Sogi,
A very short cab ride from the strip will take you to Ferraro's and they do not have a two entree minimum. I have always had great food and service there without any problems using the Restaurant.com cert. Not sure if it matters but the bar area is a pretty nice location for a single diner.

I also noticed Mandalay Bay Resort - Fleur by Hubert Keller did not have a two entree min but I cannot speak for it.

IMO, those are the only places that are very nice and do not have a two entree min.

Freez, we did the First Food cert this August for Sunday brunch. Very tasty food but prices match. I rate it about a step above Hash House a Go Go, very similar in a number of ways (food-wise)

When I travelled solo in July 2011, there were no coupon / restaurant.com options for solo diners. I don' t think that has changed much. I had some nice meals regardless but I was not impressed with any of the City Center restaurants. I just don't think they are gear for the single diner yet.
