a lot of it depends on the room. but IMO a fountain view room/suite at Bellagio is the best regular accommodation on the strip.

The Bellagio standard room is just a somewhat large hotel room.

The "standard" rooms at Venetian & Palazzo are both set up in a bi-level fashion, with an elevated sleeping area leading into a step-down parlor/seating area. I believe the "standard" rooms at the Palazzo are slightly larger than the ones at Venetian, and are also the largest "standard" rooms anywhere on the strip [with the possible exception of Encore].

The "standard" accomodation at THEHotel is, I believe, an actual 2-room suite.

Out of the choices you mention, I would agree with Shifter - go with the Bellagio Lakeview room.

Venetian and Palazzo are the largest rooms at the nicest resorts. They are huge suites 700sqft probably. The Palazzo is a little newer than the Venetian. But it's essentially the same hotel.

Bellagio is a regular room.. THEhotel is nice, but it's a step down from the Venetian, it's a little worse for the wear right now.

MGM was just remodeled a few months ago, so that would be the newest room.

If someone gave me that choice. I'd go with Palazzo.

I would vote for Bellagio, classy hotel and the pool area is really nice and laid back.

If you have never been before and are brining the gf, go with Bellagio. It is center strip, very nice rooms, and a great view

I've stayed in a king suite at the MGM. It's a very standard room, but it's big. Mine was sort of divided in two by an entertainment center. Quality furnishings in the room, but nothing like you'd get from a higher end property.

Not sure how to explain it better than that. It's a big, basic room.

    Venetian/Palazzo have a resort fee.

I would go with Bellagio for location, but Palazzo for the room.

Bellagio has remodeled their rooms and although I haven't been in one yet, I don't care for them from the photos.

Having seen all but the Mandalay rooms from those listed I would definately say "Palazzo" as the room is definately the nicest/most classy. If you want location then "Bellagio". Depends on what is more important to you :)

I think Palazzo resort fee is $20 per night but not 100% sure.

Of all those the Bellagio is the only one with a decent location. MGM is getting there but still too far south to be considered a good location.

Since 80% of your options are in a "bad location" that clearly isn't something you are concerned with.

I think the Venetian/Palazzo has the best casino and overall property, I would probably choose to stay at the Palazzo over the Venetian, which are pretty much the same anyway.

The Hotel at Mandalay Bay has the best room option imo. Large suites win out over all the other options. The location sucks but the casino and property at Mandalay Bay (including the waterpark) are pretty nice too.

Bellagio is a nice property, great location and the casino is ok. I think it gets a little crowded for my taste but it's not horrible.

I depends what you value the most:
    Location - Bellagio
    Room - The Hotel
    Casino - Palazzo

If location is important you can forget about considering TheHotel. MGM isn't a real competitor imo, the rooms are fine, not special, the location is fine, not special and the property is fine, not special. All the other options have something special about them.

Not usually, no. You can get a club host and they can probably let you cut the line, but you'll still pay cover.

As always, it is important to include lots of information to help us help you.
Thinks like budget. Types of hotels you would normally pick. Food choices. Shows. Gambling, etc.

But, based on first trip and bringing girlfriend, Bellagio with Lakeview is my top choice. Are there better rooms? Sure there are. Depends what is important.

And it depends on if you're going back with the same girl at a later date. Because if her first time in Vegas is at Bellagio, it's going to be hard to top it on the next trip. But if you're trying to get her hooked on Vegas and the Bellagio doesn't do it, then you're probably out of luck.

    Maybe I'm overthinking it.

As others said, it depends on what is important to you. However, I always recommend all first time Vegas visitors get a Bellagio lakeview room. Nothing like watching the fountains from your room with the tv turned on to the music.....very romantic! Also, there are some Bellagio Lakeview suites if you're willing to shell out the money for them.

Also, Bellagio has some of my favorite "free" vegas things to do....like the beautiful conservatory, the Chihuly gas in the check-in area and the 3 story chocolate fountain.

I'm not a fan of the Venetian simply because the smell they pipe into the casino makes me ill after about 30 mins. Haven't noticed it to be as bad at the Palazzo as the Venetian.

    Have a great time!

The bathrooms at The Hotel are awesome! If your girl is into deep soaking tubs, and huge area for the bathroom, she wont have a complaint from The Hotel. All the rooms are Suites and includes two bathrooms. Only negative, is the south location, but rental car/bus/taxi, its not a big deal.

Personally, I didn't like the Palazzo casino. The property itself, is awesome though!

Haven't ever stayed at the B, so wouldn't know anything about that.

    Have Fun..
