Apparently the North Tower rooms are way nicer as has been discussed a million times, but the one time I stayed at Ballys I had a South Tower room with an epic view of the strip facing north and I loved it. I booked Ballys again, and want to end up with at least as good a view. I wish I could remember the specific room number I stayed in because I would ask for it again at check in but I don't. Does anyone know if all South Tower rooms have great views or did I just get lucky? Anyone have a specific room number they can reference me for a South Tower room with a great strip view? Thx!

Last month I was in room 6507 in the South Tower. I had a view of the Paris pool.

We were there in april in the North tower, and this was a pic I took from the room:

My brother also had North tower room, and he had a nice view of the casino floors roof and AC units. I did the $20 trick, he did not.

It looks like North Towers have no strip views. Would that be correct?

There's a landing when you get off the elevators that lets you see the strip, but the actual rooms have no strip views.

Have stayed in south and north tower ballys rooms and really the south tower is a lot better for strip views. Just looking at them, it should be obvious.

this was my view from room 6001 in south tower, not bad for a comped room.

Do the views make up for the fact that they older rooms? I'm in a dilemma where I would like to have a nicer room in the north tower, but having a nice view is always a plus. I've heard horror stories about the south tower, but I do know that people over-exaggerate. Are the south tower rooms really that bad?

yea the stuff looks a little outdated but i really did not mind it, really was only in the room like 4 hours a night to sleep. but room was clean, shower and tub had hot water. so i did not complain. here's a couple pictures.

GoingBroke, what category room is that? Looks a little dated, but much better than any random Holiday Inn I've stayed at on an overnight trip.

I'm sure this is a suite and not a normal South Tower room. Does anyone have a picture of a regular room?

Those pictures are a south tower suite, had them many times.

Been my experience that odd number rooms in the south tower face south, and the odd number rooms in the north tower face north. Hope that helps.
