    Hello All,

I booked a "spur of the moment" trip to vegas with my brother in a couple weeks! SOOOOO Excited, I can't wait!

I booked us a "Flamingo GO Deluxe" Room

    1. Is this a nice room?
    2. Does this room come with 2 queens?
    3. If Not is there pull out sofa or anything?
    4. Overall, how do you rate the Flamingo?

    Thank you very much!

Oh I reserved 2 queens.... but it's my understanding that flamingo has several rooms that only have 1 bed type, which is why I ask.

I stayed in a Go w/View room back in April
    1. Nice for the right price. It's no Aria or Wynn though. Room was clean, bathroom has a large sliding glass door, shocking pink bathroom, stereo system with subwoofer, lights directly over bed. A vaguely Austin Powers feel to the room - retro 70's.
    2. I was solo but got a room w/2 queens, so I'm pretty certain you'll get what you asked for.
    3. n/a
    4. Flamingo is a mid-range hotel with a nice pool. I like that the Margaritaville "casino" is inside the Flamingo - different vibe and feel. Flamingo is very central on the Strip with many other properties within easy walking distance. It was about 5 minutes from my room to standing on the Strip.

--> Be aware that the Linq construction is going on. I didn't have any problem with noise, but others have had issues with it.

    1. Is this a nice room? Yes it is

    2. Does this room come with 2 queens? You didn't reserve 2 queens, you requested it.. but it is NOT guaranteed. Shouldn't be an issue, but it is NOT guaranteed. Just know this.

    3. If Not is there pull out sofa or anything? No

    4. Overall, how do you rate the Flamingo? For the location and price, it is one of the best properties. It is no Wynn/Cosmo/Bellagio, but that isn't what you should expect.

This is the base hotel we use when staying on the strip and has been for over 12 years. That includes the wife, different buddies, and their spouses. No real complaints. Perfect location, clean, great crowd, and Margaritaville is the whip. Im positive you will enjoy yourself unless your the type that crawls around on your hands and knees looking for a bugger under the bed.

I thought it was great for the price.
    1. Nice pools
    2. You're on the strip in 5 minutes.
    3. Location was good
    4. GO rooms had all you really needed. Didn't care for the glass bathroom doors. If you have to go in the middle of the night you are lighting up the whole bedroom.
    5. If you want to you can go to Caesars for their pool (but it's a hike)

In reply to the 2 Queen bed issue, you can now book 2 Queens on the Caesars site. I had a Go Luxury room booked, then broke up with the GF, invited a buddy of mine so I needed to rebook. I called and the lady said if you absoutely need two Queens you can book it, its $5 extra on a basic room if you are paying rack rate.

I was on a COMP, so I actually downgraded, but its worth it to know we will have two Queens.

Quick ? Hubby and I are booked in a "go-luxury" Aug 29th - we were gonna throw some coffee in our luggage, is it just a small run of the mill coffee maker, not a k-cup or anything right?

    Thanks!!

Not a Kuerig. But it's a good cup of coffee. We used the ice maker ice for the water and not the tap water. The maid will give you more coffee too.

Those rooms are one of my favorite "regular" rooms in Vegas. So neat and chic! I had 2 queens so they do exist.

NGL the Flamingo is outdated, with the low ceilings, old games, no food worth a damn, less amenities than some of the others. But it's not terrible. It's average, and a slight step down from the other big 4 star giants (like Mirage, MGM, Mandalay..) It's a 3.5 star. You can do worse. For a good deal, it's worth it, and it's a great location.
