    Hey Now!
I always stop by my local bank and order about $80 in $2 bills to use for drink tips. A lot of servers say they are lucky, many of them collect 'em. One thing for sure, they always remember me. This is good because I drink NA beer....

I drink just about anything except tomato juice and antifreeze (in that order), but think I'll follow your lead and try to get $2 bills for tipping, too. I just wonder, however, if most servers even notice that they're not getting just another $1.

I've also given $2 bills & they definately notice & seem to get a kick out of it. I know they stay attentive to me always having a fresh drink. I usually have a few of the bills - maybe I should order a supply b4 going....great idea!!

    People love $2 Bills

I always keep a $2.00 bill in my wallet for good luck. Last weekend my 4 year old niece lost a baby tooth and was all excited so I gave her my $2 bill. All the adults standing around were
saying to her how special it was and you can't get them anymore. I explained they are still around and how I asked my bank to order a $200 stack for me and a few days later they came in.

I love $2 bills and so do a lot of people in Vegas! They always comment on them like wow cool thanks man! Or hey I haven't seen one of these in years or hey thanks I collect these etc...
I used to pass out $1 Coins as tips but always found myself explaining it was a dollar and not a quarter. But I didn't like the weight of that coin roll in my pocket. I still have about 30 bills left.

    Almost time to order more!

I use them for small tips everywhere I go, which includes Las Vegas. The only problem I have had was overseas and on cruiseships. Foriegn retailers don't ever see them and some think they are counterfeit. In the US it's never a problem.

We got married at the Wynn last Sept and after the ceremony we were walking through the casino and some random guy came up to us and handed each one of our party a crisp $2 bill for luck, we were all taken aback at this total random act of pure kindness and generosity, me and the wife still have ours on display in our house :peace:

Yes, sometimes they do. I've found it to be hit or miss though, so I usually bring them from home.

    $2

Does anyone ever still come across a $2 bill with the red seal on it? I got one from a horse track years ago, and still have it.

Are the $2 billS with red seals worth anything more than $2?

Hmm... I don't know about them being lucky or collectible, I think the waitresses just like them because they are $2.

When I was a child, my uncle who owned a bank, always gave all the children in the family $2 bills on holidays. As a kid, I thought the $2 was supremely cool. Still get a kick out of it whenever I see one

The 2 dollar bills before 72 series are worth more if graded because they are certificates rather than notes
