Ok before you start beating me up, let me explain. Our two "reasons" for going to Vegas (as if anyone needed a reason) this fall was to

    1. Have my husband go with my father on a "boys" trip to see Viva Elvis since the hubs is an Elvis fan.

    2. Have me go with my mom to go see Elton John since she's the only one who would go with me to see him.

Our plans went bust because AFTER plane tickets were bought, we tried to get the show tickets and found out that not only was Viva Elvis closing a week before my dad and hubs would arrive, but that Elton is dark ONLY on the days mom and I are going to be there. SH**.

So, with all this going out the window now I especially need to find a show for my 70 year old dad and my 38 year old husband. Something that they will both enjoy and my mom said NO BOOBIES ALLOWED.

They like impersonators so I was thinking maybe one of the Rat Pack shows but I don't know which one. My husband likes classic Cirque but not sure that my dad would stay awake through Mystere or O.

Mom and I can find something we like....Since we did see the movie Magic Mike, I pushed for "Chippendales" or the "Thunder from Down Under" but she said no, she'd never hear the end of it from my dad so...........we'll just play it by ear. Maybe she'll change her mind after a few drinks.... LOL

But what to do about the guys?

I took my parents to the Rat Pack is Back when it was at the Plaza a couple of years ago, and we all had a great time. It is currently at the Rio, an I assume it would be mostly the same... possibly better in its new digs.

Another place they might enjoy would be the Price is Right show at Bally's. My parents got a kick out of that, too.

If they have a sense of humor, they might enjoy Frank Marino's Diva show at the Imperial Palace. A little more blue, but it is a comedy show and there certainly would be NO BOOBIES.

Check out LOVE, lots of great music, and lots of cirque action, probably something the whole group could enjoy.

I'd say you just take everyone to Jersey Boys. Everyone will leave happy.

After looking at your countdown and re-reading your post, it looks like hubs and dad and you and mom are going on different dates.

I suppose you're not flying Southwest because if you are, you can re-book at no add'l fee or penalty which is why we always fly SW.

If not, I'd second LOVE and Jeresey Boys although LOVE could be a bit loud for the older folks but I loved the volume, it gave it a bit of a concert atmosphere.

Another thought is Terry Fator at the Mirage or Garth Brooks at Wynn if he's in town on your dates.

I'm pushing old at 66. Having just seen them in June I can recommend Jersey Boys and Human Nature. Both fun shows and no boobies.

But, I did fall sound asleep at Mystere. A pretty expensive nap for me.

We are taking my FIL to Las Vegas for about the 5th time. He is 80 years old. We are seeing Matt Goss for the second time because he enjoyed it. I like it too. It will be our third time seeing him.

Which ever Shows you choose, don't make the same mistake
    you made the first time.
Make sure your Show isn't DARK or the cast is on holidaze hiatus
the night you want to see it.

Human Nature was really enjoyable. The crowd got into the music. The show was for all age groups and you can find deals on tickets. I'm sure your group would enjoy it.

I love Bryan Adams but be aware that this is just him playing an acoustic guitar with a pianist accompanying him on a few of the songs.
I'm glad I saw him but would have liked to have seen him play with his band. It's hard to Rock-Out to Cuts Like A Knife as an acoustic song!

We really enjoyed "Vegas, the Show"

Also liked "Jubilee" which has lots of boobies. However, there is a day - Saturday at 7 pm, I think that has a family friendly version.

We also found half off coupons for both in the magazines that get handed out or picked up.
