I for one do not. A large soaking tub is a nice bonus but a standalone shower is a must for me if possible. So lets see if we can get a consolidated list of places that have standalone showers in their base level rooms. I'll start and let's see what we can add.

    Showers

    Mandalay Bay
    RIO
    Planet Hollywood
Caesar's Palace (pretty sure all towers)
    Wynn
    Aria

Mirage has them in the rennovated tower rooms. Not sure if that is considered a base room, though

Flamingo GO rooms all have standalone showers. I agree with your sentiment, I always dislike showering where I have to deal with a shower curtain and stepping in a tub..

I don't know about the Nugget, but nobody else that I know of downtown has separate units.
    That would include
    Four Queens
    Golden Gate
    Plaza
    Main Street
    Cal
    Fremont
Unless it's possibly in a suite. We've only stayed at a suite in Main Street and even those don't have them.

Here is the bathroom we had when we double booked at Golden gate, Oct 2011. Like i said maybe the suites for all the places I mentioned (except MSS) are different and some have separate showers. This was a comped room.

Bally's has showers in their normal sized tubs. Harrah's as well.

Tropicana has showers in their garden tubs. We thought that was REALLY dumb. LOL

I don't recall ever having a standalone shower at Rio. Forum Tower at CP only has a shower. Have no idea what's offered in Roman Tower but based on the age of it, I doubt it would have a standalone.
