Been playing a lot of video baccarat back home and don't remember seeing it around Mandalay Bay. Has anybody? I prefer the $5-$10 minimum machines.

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but...

We found a huge one at the Venetian, big 80" or more screen, 5 player locations each with a large touch screen. Was $2 minimum $1199 max when we were there.

It must have been brand new because while we were there burgundy uniformed employees were constantly getting explanations from the Suit's about how the basic game works.

The only issues we had with the machine were that the screen and bill acceptors had a tendency to be a bit slow and/or touchy. It would often be hard to get chip denominations selected at the bottom of the screen, however the betting locations seemed responsive enough. The bill acceptors took forever to take bills and then forever to register them; if you had 2 or more bills you generally couldn't get both in and bet within the betting time period, and it wouldn't let you put in bills during dealing and payout. We started making sure to pre-load the machine if it looked like we were going to need to raise our bank roll.

We walked through a bunch of other places looking for another one as the one at the Venetian was often full. None found at Caesars, City center, Monte Carlo, NYNY, Excal, Luxor, nor Mandalay (we asked employees at most of these properties, even.) Possible that this was the first one of this type installed.
