One of my friends did two months in LV while doing some work for MGM, he almost became a local!! We now have so many contacts we have taken our LV trips to a whole new level.

    Enjoy!!

    Where are you traveling from?

After one week, I am kind of ready to go home. Then again, maybe I am just telling myself that so I don't become bummed.

    What is the hotel itinerary?

I think for two months a hotel would not work. Thinking at minimum a condo for like $1500-2000/mo. Want something close to the [STRIKE]hookers[/STRIKE] action.

    wow 2 months !

dont know if i could do it

longest i stayed was 8 days and by day 6 i was ready to leave. maybe it was because on the 6th day we added the other 2 .

if your looking for budget maybe multiple hotels is your better bet.

It would be interesting to work out what is cheaper - jumping from hotel to hotel grabbing the best deal (particularly downtown) for a week at a time or one of those long stay apartment arrangements - for the two months. I never noticed if there were any decent backpacker accomodation in Vegas either, as I figured with such cheap hotels it would be pointless.

I have been considering sitting the bar exam in Vegas for a few years now which would involve probably a three month commitment, so the logistics are of interest to me.

Las Vegas and the bar exam don't sound like they belong in the same sentence. I would have a hell of a hard time studying for anything school/job-related if I had all of Vegas at my disposal.

I wonder how a degree from the William Boyd School of Law stacks up to other schools?

It is not a pure 2 months of vacation - I wish - oh I wish. There is work involved and a fair amount of it. But I know that little whore will be a 10-15 minute drive away anytime I want for 2 months

Yuk....I can't fathom why that would be a good thing. Availability of a whore being one of the primo aspects of two months in LV>:vomit:

METAPHOR: a figure of speech in which a word or phrase literally denoting one kind of object or idea is used in place of another to suggest a likeness or analogy between them (as in drowning in money); broadly; figurative language

I did 2 months in 2008 and wanted to kill myself by the end :vomit:

Best of luck, I'd never even entertain doing 1/2 that again and 2 months I'd need paying a lot of money to do!!

    Too long for myself.
A week in LV is good enough be it business or pleasure.
If I had to be there for that long I would be minimizing casino visits.
I'd be spending too much time @ Red Rooster.:wink2:

I do want to live there someday, but not in LV- Pahrump or Henderson. The city of LV has way too many tourists and convention goers for my taste to put up with on a daily basis. During my Navy days I was stationed on Guam, Guam is full of Japanese tourists, but I was on a ship, so we would spend a month or two in the homeport, then we would be off to Japan or South Korea or Australia or somewhere else, and back then I was a single 20 year old that didn't have a wife waving goodbye to me on the pier as we shoved off so I loved it. Putting up with tourists got on my nerves after awhile, but like I said, we weren't there that long. We are doing a 7 night stay in february for the wedding and that will be my longest time there, but I think 7 is very doable.

I would but we were told this is a snark free zone and who hate to to violate that rule.

We did two trips of two months last year. My SO still didnt want to go home, but I was about ready to leave after six weeks. Both times we looked into a rental property, but opted for hotel hopping instead.

This year both our trips will be six weeks. The second one isn't far away.

Did very similar last year too - spent Jan to march and then May to July, before a Xmas to New Year. Both trips were holiday hopping and had a great time on both trips - could spend an eternity out there - only 2 weeks until the next trip, cant wait.
