So my EC balance has reached an absurd (for me anyway) $2900. I'm not a big drinker and the onlt meat I eat is fish. So that means I don't see myself using the EC for a fancy steak dinner with an old bottle of wine. So I'm trying to think of other fun uses for my EC. Anyone have ideas on what they might do with them??

Stop at bar and buy a round of drinks.
Go to high limit bar, get good stuff.
    Do spa.
Do spa again. Get haircut, etc
Get fish dinner nicest place in town.
    Take friends to dinner.

Buy 30 tickets to Cirque O for a Saturday night. You'll get a discount with your Mlife card and they'll waive the service fee since you're paying with EC. Sell them on Craigslist and add the cash to your bankroll.

While not $2900, I bought some people cupcakes and milk at the Cupcakery at MC. If anything, makes ya feel good.

King's idea is really good. Also, Julian Serrano at Aria and Bellagio has some expensive candy/chocolates. They would make great gifts to give friends/family.

lol, will do! You can find me on the co-ed terrace at the Aria spa. I'll be the one asleep with my feet dangling over the edge of the little pool

I like this idea the best. Last March, I bought my sister and nephew a bunch of little chocolates from the place inside Aria. I might load up this trip and take home a bunch for everybody!

Be careful. If they ring it up as retail, it will not fly. If it is rung up as food, then you are all set.

I have run into a similar situation at a spa somewhere recently. Bought spa products along with service, one big spa charge. Went back to buy something separately, came through as retail. No go.

Thanks. Actually, I learned that lesson at the Aria in March when I bought chocolate for sis and I. My nephew wanted a cookie, so I bought a prepacked one, only to learn the prepackaged stuff was not covered by EC. But I know the little chocolate pieces are covered!

Oh, I didn't realize that some of it is retail :( The few things I bought, I was able to use express comps.

Can you use express comps for bottle service? We can hit the club after the spa, UK! ;)

Have not done that, but bottle service should be food and beverage.

These are fantastic. They seem way overpriced, but as the original poster said "what to use em on?" You cant take em to the grave with you. I mean, in my situation, i do the majority of my gambling throughout the year at MGM Grand Detroit. They have NOTHING to use them on here, other than hotel, but i live a half hour away. Then i go to LV and normally get my room comped upfront and earn enough express comps back from gambling to offset what i use on food, etc. So i decided to use an Mlife moment for the first time my last trip and got a tattoo at Mario Barth's King Ink at the Mirage. They gave me up to $2000 worth of tattoo fees, so i got a really nice detailed, professional tattoo. Loved it, will definitely do it again!

Interesting. I always buy the prepackaged hot chocolate and prepackaged chocolate bars, etc and have always been able to use my resort credits or EC to cover these charges.

I did run into the spa items as mentioned not being covered by EC when simply just buying stuff.

Yes bottle service at a club is a good use of EC's. It is not always covered by F and B because of the exuberant prices.
