I can't answer your second question, but as to the first...

I like Blue Moon, but I've never seen it anywhere in Vegas for $1.

Casino Royale has $1 Michelob or Michelob Light bottles, but that's a far cry from Blue Moon.

The poker room at The Flamingo will serve you Blue Moon complimentary while you are playing (I like the service there, too), but this means you must be a poker player. Of course, tips are expected, but a $1 tip is fine... so, in effect, you are getting a Blue Moon. However, they recently (a few months ago) switched from Blue Moon draft to Blue Moon bottles. Just wanted to point this out.

Other places I've been playing either VP or live poker and I've asked for Blue Moon but have been denied-- these are Harrah's and Golden Gate-- being told that it's not complimentary... so I've had to order an inferior beer instead.

    Hope this helps.

Try the bar at Bill's Gambling Hall. They had it on tap last year...served in a plastic cup...can't remember if it was a buck.

Gold Coast has Blue Moon on tap. Free while gambling. One of the reasons I love the Gold Coast.

In May when we stayed at the IP we were served Blue Moon. Playing penney slots, talk about surprised. Tipped the CW's $1,no troubles at all.

I've often ordered Blue Moon on tap at the GC's bars, which comes in a tall glass with orange slice. Always comped while playing, which the main reason I go to Vegas in the first place. However, when playing machines on the floor or table games, Blue Moon comes in a tiny glass without orange. In fact, when I forgot the last time and ordered it while playing BJ, the waitress suggested I order something else unless I wanted a small beer. I ordered something else. Has something recently changed? I hope so!

I was at the GC in January. They brought it in the same glass the bar uses with the orange slice while playing VP on the floor.

Thanks, I'll try again, but will certainly to inquire how it comes when ordering. I wonder if I might be getting Gold Coast confused with Suncoast. I KNOW I couldn't get it in a tall glass (other than at the bar) at one of those places just a couple months ago.

Looks we will both be in Vegas for Labor Day so we can do some more research on this issue at the Gold Coast.

If bars don't have Blue Moon, try Shook Top. Just as tasty.
