Has anyone played the new CLUE slot machine yet? I was looking at the videos on the Total Rewards site and I can't wait to try it out. CLUE was one of my favorite games and movies (the original with Tim Curry) as a kid. The bonus rounds look like fun. I think this machine will get plenty of my bankroll during my next visit
I've played it a few times. Bonuses don't come up as frequently as I'd like. Had one good dining room bonus but if I remember correctly, my other bonuses didn't total more than $20 (usually playing $2/spin). The extra wilds feature come out a bunch and if you get the "clock" (meaning 5 or more wilds) there's potential for big wins. But I really like the concept and will play it again when I'm next at a casino with one.
I played it once back in April at Planet Hollywood. Played for about 30-40 minutes and I never saw any bonuses, while the people playing next to me were getting them from time to time. For me the game really sucked up money fast. My wife has a moderate interest in the game: she was able to get the bonus to come up from time to time at least, but still found it sucked up money pretty quickly.
Played it once at a local casino. Went through a $20 in no time! I'll stick with the less trendy stuff.
Doesn't matter what machine I play, this is the result. I bring luck to those beside me while my money gets sucked away.
Same story here, played it for about 30 mins in June, no bonuses. Liked the concept but it didn't pay out enough to keep my interest.
I only played it once but it took $100 from me without even a bonus. I played 80 and 120 credits. Fun concept, but I seem to fall for it every time. Don't these licensed slots have the worst payout %'s anyways?
Super fun but doesn't pay all that well. It's really worth playing the online game at playerslife.com before you go so you can unlock the library bonus (I think you only have to unlock levels 1 & 2). If you pick the library bonus, you have a shot at multiple bonuses in one.
Surprisingly, I've had really good luck with this one. And yes, you've got the double whammy of a Wide Area Jackpot and a licenced theme. Usually this means a quick loss for me, but I've had some really good luck with the bonuses.
This happened to us last time -- at Caesars this guy was hitting bonus after bonus on Gems Gems Gems -- with repeated triggers and ended up with like $500 off of like 3 back to back bonuses. We were playing the same machine accross the way from him and didn't hit one single bonus -- we went through almost $100 chasing after it. We tried the same slot in several different places and never hit one. I'll never play that stupid machine again!
Had not heard of the Clue machine so checked it out on you tube. Am I the only dork who watches videos of others playing slot machines? It is informative to see how the game is played before popping in some cash but extremely misleading since people normally only post the bonus rounds and big wins. It makes you think you have a chance. They probably put in $2000 to get that $700 win.
I never watch the ones where people record just standard play, but I have watched some of the different bonus rounds people have hit for various games. Clue is a WMS game and they have their own channel on You Tube that they post videos and trailers of all their big games.
