I have a host that booked my Labor Day trip for three of us for 5 days. I noticed her day off is the day we leave. I am already getting my room and show tickets free. I do think we will be gambling more this trip than any of my trips this year. If I wanted some of my meals picked up, how would I do it? Should I have her make the reservations. I am use to doing everything myself and this is the first time I will be using a host with CET.
You can talk to your host, or you can call for the host on-duty anytime if you like. They are usually very helpful in my experience.
that happens often for me since a lot of hosts have sun/mon off so they can be there the rest of the week when most players are arriving. the best option is to talk to your host the day before you leave when she's in the office. or you can always go into the host office the day you leave and talk to someone else.
Some very good suggestions here. I will just add to the good suggestions already given by saying: Being that it will be your first time with this host, it may be a good idea to connect with the host the day before you check out and have the host review your play. With CET, they will use your points first, but if your play warrants, they will also take any and possibly all other charges off as discretionary comps. Connecting with them is a good way to start building a relationship with the host. A good relationship with a host will go a long, long, long way in you getting what you want and getting pretty much everything comped. For example, there have been trips where I have less play than what some ultra-low gambler play, and my host still picks up things. Sure, my history of play speaks for itself, but a good with my host has enabled me to still enjoy being treated with VIP services during the various times when my play did not warrant such treatment. If, however, you can't connect with your host, then it would behoove you to speak to the next available host to review your play. They may not be as generous as your host, but they should be pretty helpful. Heck, you may like them so much that you would want them to be your host, if your host hasn't done much for you. My relationship with my LV host at CET is part of the reason why I haven't left and move on to "greener pastures." I am still well-taken care of even my recent play have not lived up to prior history. Saying this to suggest you to try and cultivate a good relationship with your host.
When there is three of us gambling, do you think they will look at all of out play or just mine? I will be Diamond by my next visit. I am only 725 points from it now. My husband is Platinum and my Father in law is Gold because he has not been to CET properties for a while but he has lots of money to blow. I have met my host once. She seemed nice. I was staying at Caesars at the time and she is at Rio. Labor Day I will be at Rio.
give her all your players' info so she can look at everybody and apply comps from all of you. if your FIL is a baller, that should definitely help you out.
My FIL is funny. He has more money than God yet he gets so impressed if something is free. I remember when I had his breakfast comped at Ellis Island. He is still talking about it.
There are lots of people like that. I ran golf tournaments in a past job. Hosted CEO types - making big bucks, at high end places. Part of welcome packet was a golf shirt. You would be amazed how many came back and said there was no shirt in their bag. Funny stuff.
