I'd say only go with the highlights if you can rock the wifebeater (like in the above pic)

Highlights are a good way to hide grey hair when you're not ready to go all the way with regular "Just for Men" hair colour sessions.

I think your hair looks nice the way it is.

    My advise is....

Go slow in putting hi-lites on your hair. What I mean is don't do too many hi-lites. Just a few to get started. As you get used to it... then you add more hi-lites. Do some hi-lites that are not too bright. Use darker hi-lites.
You have to get used to it pyschologically. So once you get it done...give yourself two weeks to get used to it. Lucy

Nah, you don't need that, man. Your hair is fine the way it is. However, it really depends on what look you're going for.

If it turns out bad, that's what hats are for. Go for it, you can always have it dyed back.

There is a temporary color spray you can buy (it does make your hair stiff and I would only recommend it for Halloween, but it would be good to give you an idea of what you might look like before you actually go through the process).

You can spray the temporary highlights in and then wash them out. If you like the look, then you know what you have to do. Here is a link to the spray (there are a lot of colors so search through to find the one that is closest to what you want):

There's also an option for highlights that washes out. It looks like a tube of mascara. You get them at Sally's Beauty Supply and probably a few other stores. It would be a good way to experiment without committing.
