I have taken the bus from level zero a few times, but I do not recall if it is possible to pick up a passenger from there. I figured it would be a little less hectic than on the upper level. Does anyone know if "normal" cars are able to get down to level zero to pick someone up?

Passenger pickup is away from the taxis and shuttles area anyway. Unless they've changed it in the past few months, it was pretty smooth when I picked up an arriving passenger in Oct. Maybe it was just a quiet time, but that whole short term lot was basically empty where the arriving passenger pickup area is, only like 6 cars in the whole thing.

Is it possible to pick up without having to park first? I cannot remember looking at the lanes to see if one is just for pick up and others for taxis and what not.

I've never seen taxis down there... just shuttle buses, limos, etc.

Definitely no personal pick-up on Ground Zero level. The regular passenger pick-up is relatively easy to access.

Good to know. Is it best or easiest to park and wait or is there an easy way to go around in the circle until your party arrives?

If you are talking about short-term parking area, then yes, it is possible to pick them up in the right lane, if your timing is right with the incoming passengers. There are no taxis in this area, just pickup and short-term parking. BTW first 15 minutes of short-term parking is free. Do not park and leave your car in that right hand lane.

You could have the people you are picking up cross all lanes of traffic to the drop-off side. I've done that but they have to know the airport themselves.
