I have enjoyed playing BJ Poolside at HardRock and Golden Nugget. What other Casinos have poolside gaming. I am going back to Vegas Sept. Sat and sun at the Plaza and Monday and Tuesday at the IP

What about in the pool gaming? What hotels offer this as well.

Is it true that anyone can play at these tables, not just hotel guests?

At both the HR and Nugget sometime security would ask to see the room key to go to pool area Just tell them u are there to play BJ and they let you in. I am also curious about swim up black jack. I think the Topicana has it. Idont know if theyhave it in Sept.

I think Mandalay Bay has a casino area overlooking the pool.

On a related note, I saw on the Cosmo website that they have "cabana gaming". I took that to mean they have an intimate casino setting. But if it actually means I can get a cabana with a craps table and a sports book, then I am never getting a room to stay in again

Tropicana used to.... Not sure if they still do or not. They were actually the pioneer of this I think.

Encore has 6/5 blackjack by their pool and in the nightclub surrender.

I went to one of the blackjack dealers (I had been drinking) and said "How do you sleep at night offering these odds?". He claimed it wasn't his choice and that's just what they make him do.

"Claimed"? Of course it wasn't his choice - do you think each individual blackjack dealer sets his own odds?

When did the Encore go to 6-5 BJ. Any time I've been at their pool side tables, it's been 3-2. The same for the Wynn, which by the way, is my all-time favorite outdoor gambling venue - great location by the Euro pool, comfortable seating, cool pit bosses, friendly dealers and decent BJ rules.
However, last year they started going weekends only, instead of weekdays (not enough business) also.

I did a walkaround the Wynn pool once after eating at the cafe there and I do remember the lovely scenery. I might like to play there (or anywhere poolside) but the ones I've found usually have higher minimums. Can anyone speak to the minimums at various poolside BJ tables? And the odds I suppose, I'm only now learning how important those are.

No sure about this year, but last summer the Wynn and Encore had $10 BJ tables.
