Which casino has the largest floor for slots? Or overall for both slots/tables? On the strip of course! Thanks

I would gander that it would be your casinos with the largest floorspace.... Offstrip properties have a larger percentage of VP, but are still slot heavy.

MGM, Mandalay, Bellagio, Caesars, Sunset Station, Sante Fe Station, Texas Station, Green Valley Ranch and the Orleans are the biggest in Vegas.

I am always amazed at the immensity of Sante Fe Station. Very few tourists make it out there, but it is actually a hidden gem, and HUGE. The vaulted ceilings and open spaces add to the feel. Totally off topic, but whatever.

No way. The casino floor is 1/3 of the size of the major properties. Although Ballys slot machines are packed in tightly, they don't have more slots than the huge properties that I mentioned above.

Perhaps most machines per square area, but not total compared to other properties.

I would say it is MGM but in May they had large portions unavailable due to renovations.

One thing to keep in mind is that NYNY is probably 1/3 or a 1/4 the size of MGM yet we spend way more time at NYNY because they have more of the machines we like.

So I will tell you what I wife keeps telling me......size doesn't matter its the quality. :wink2:

:thumbsup::thumbsup: Good one!!! I'll try to quit laughing while I type ----

(ok, I'm better.) I have to agree with MGM Grand as the correct answer for the most available slots on the casino floor. Mandalay Bay isn't far behind.

A definite no way to this.

Bally's is small compared to Aria, Bellagio and MGM Grand.

Outside of Vegas, Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun in Connecticut each have somewhere between 6500 and 7000 slot machines.

Sorry about Bally's, it used to have a lot a few years ago...my bad...here is the article from LVA with the list.

It's been a while since we last tackled this question -- August 1, 2008, to be precise -- and there's been some surprising jostling in the rankings. Also of some surprise is how many less slots many properties have, which we assume is a reflection on the economy.

The source for these statistics is the Nevada Gaming Control Board's monthly Non-Restricted Count Report, which details the types and number of games currently on the floor at all Nevada casinos. Back in 2008, MGM Grand was the winner, with 2,550 slots, followed by Bellagio (2,440), and Bally's (2,350).
Fast forward to September 30, 2011 (the most recent date for which figures have been released) and Bellagio now tops the list, at 2,270, followed by MGM Grand with 2,150, and a tie for third place between Aria and Mirage, each with 2,020.

The statistics are somewhat muddied by the fact Venetian and Palazzo are treated as one property, with a combined total of 2,829, likewise Wynn and Encore, with 2,700. We took your question literally and stuck to properties on the Strip proper, but if you venture further south, South Point has 2,630 slots and Silverton has 2,041.

Bally's, which historically has been a contender and came in at #3 in 2008 with 2,350 is now down to a mere 1,030. Off-Strip casino-wise, Sam's Town has also slashed its slot inventory from 3,030 to 2,105.

To find the most slots on any casino floor today, you'll need to head west to Red Rock, which topped the list in September with 3,010.

Another interesting development is a shift in the leaders for most casino-floor space, which has formerly been dominated by MGM Grand, which now comes in third place at 156,023 sq. feet. Second is Bellagio, at 159,760 sq. feet, while the winner is Mandalay Bay, which boasts 160,344 sq. feet of casino-floor space.
