So after that slight loss in the morning, limo it over to Cosmo while the kids hit the Excalibur gambler-in-training school. They win big!!! (in bears)

Anyways, I have about 2 hours until the 6pm wildcard drawing for the quarterfinals, so I of course go to craps. (sometimes I think the casino doesn't need to do anything for me and I would gamble continuously...)

Boy, the first table that I chose was such a dead table. I was next to this paranoid lady that kept going on and on about how vegas was built by scoundrels and you have to watch your chips....(true but hey do you have to keep talking about it?) On the other side there was young guy that was harassing each shooter....not in a bad way, but making bets on yo for the shooter and just being a drunken fool...holding up the game quite a bit.

There's a reason why I play on my own table sometimes, but I knew I was a poor roller today, so I had to tough it out....

So chain-smoking paranoid old lady next to me, basically presses and loses....and the dice flies around the table....

I finally have enough down about 80k, then head over to the other table....more of the same....UNTIL I totally go on tilt....the table clears out by now at the other end and this super hot chick walks up, blond, about 6'2'', hot hot hot....she places 25 on the pass....I immediately tell the floor to lock the table up...only me and her.

In my mind, nothing sexual, but she was just exuding pleasantness...I decide this is it....by this time I'm down about 150k.

I throw my usual horn high ace deuce insurance bet, and then 200 yo for me, 25 for dealers, and "25 for the pretty lady"

She didn't make the yo, but since she wasn't taking odds, and the first point was 9, I put 100 behind her 25. I also put 25 for dealers, and 100 behind.

Guess how many passes she ends up making....about 5 and a ton of numbers. I get my 10 pressed to 5k (my max at cosmo), and my hard ways being 1100 on 8 and 10, 800 on 6 and 4.

So out of the 200k and 100k markers I took, I end up making 3k. But the woman makes about 2k and dealers the same....it was epic because the dealers, box, floor, were all smirking....when she was high 5'ving me.

She thanked me profusely and left, and I told the boys "had to try something! I was getting slaughtered, nothing was working...."

Fun little craps story today.

But my tournament draw was completely different...I get drawn into the quarterfinals (I had enough tickets in the bin)....for 7pm....

So I play slots for an hour, go big whammy!

Then sit down at the tournament, 2 advance out of 4 people....pretty good odds right?

I don't win a single hand, and am out in 7 hands.

How do I miss a coin-flip 7 times?

Oh well...I was just glad it wasn't real chips

What was your theo for this craps session?

 

I felt too embarrassed to...was already embarrassed just betting for her...

The theo now takes about a day and 1/2. This is what I recorded on the machines.....which I have no idea what it means....

 

I think that's $4754.95 in comp you can spend.

 

I should be up to 50k theo points by now, so probably can spend about 20k-airfare....they have a few sessions of craps not in yet....since they have to "manually adjust".

Mistake after dinner....

So after dinner at Mizumi at the Wynn, went to play some more craps....my table is still cold as ever...so moved to a full table....did catch a 3 pass roll with 1/2 the feature...so wasn't too bad a loss at 21k.

Then stopped off at roulette and started betting 500 dollar chips, it was a single zero wheel and I bet about 15 chips a hand. Hit two big numbers, but gave most of it back. The key to roulette is to leave a winner, so I left +4k.

Down 17k for the night....bleh....

 

Nate - $2000 straight hit on 10 black is a winner for you and makes the whole day in the plus - definitely a +EV move

 

Nate...really enjoying your read...your Vegas trip is quite different than most of us here. It's like seeing the other side of Vegas. Cool stuff..thanks man.

Girls trip to Vegas begins today and I roll into the Palazzo later this morning. I would love to throw some dice with you or just fist bump you some luck if you are rolling solo. Will you be playing much at Wynn today?

"I walk up to throw the dice. All of a sudden, this asian dude closes the table to just me and him. Am I ever nervous.

Then, he puts down odds for me of a 100 bucks.

I am soooooo nervous. I just throw the dice trying to keep them on the table and not upset the guy.

I start rolling like crazy and I start winning and the Asian Dude is all smiles.

Yes, I will miss this thread. I have been following Natedog since his last trip when my cousin sent me pics of his gold plates so I have been holding out hope that I could catch some live action.

Plus, this is my first time going with another craps player and it would be a great way to launch our 4 day trip.

Better get moving, I leave in an hour. ETA Vegas 11 am.
