    Hello! I'm 25, Live on St.Thomas in the Virgin Islands. I'm loving the site! Planning on another trip(first was 10 years ago) to Las Vegas in September and already got amazing information! I will be posting more! :peace:

    Welcome to VMB. I had the good fortune of visiting St Thomas on a cruise once. Went out to water island, beautiful place. We had to take the bus back to the cruise ship, and no one spoke english, so we just kinda went with it and hoped we were heading in the right direction. Luckily we were. :)

    Not on this bus. :) Everyone seemed to speak Creole. Though it's very possible they could understand (or even speak) English and just pretended not to, I suppose!

    You sure it was St. Thomas? And not St.Maarten? St.Croix?(maybe) St.Lucia? St.Vincent?

    though we visited those islands as well, it was definitely St. Thomas. I thought maybe I mis-remembered where Water Island was, but not according to Google! http://goo.gl/maps/zYRX

    And we were definitely coming back from there. It's the only time we took a "bus". They are open air, maybe 5 rows or so, with about 5 people in each row.

    @tapkip we call them "safaris" lol. Your right though about the language! They normally come from some other islands, Haiti for example.

    @ebuzz7 Yes from one to another! From white sands to......gold/yellow sand? I'll that that for $100 please Alex :)!
