The Riveria has no resort fee if you have a card otherwise about $9.00.

This sounds like a wise no-brainer way to create loyalty to both the hotel and gaming. I wonder if anyone else will pick up the baton?

I was there in June. The resort fee is $11 a day included wifi which worked well.
I have a card and had to pay the resort fee. Is this something new? It is not listed on their website. Oh by the way I was upgraded for free to the Monaco tower. It was great new comfy bed, flat screen tv. Room was very clean and quiet. It was like staying in a Hilton Garden Inn.

The person who took my ressy told me that there would be no resort fee, if one had the card. You're right about the Monaco Tower and they are under new management.

Just got off the phone with the Riviera. It is $11 a night resort fee taxes in. It is no fee if you have a comped room. Anything other then a comped room you have to pay the fee. I called because I have a reservation again for November and I wanted to clarify...hope this helps.

I just got off the phone from talking to the Riveria people. The no resort fee was instituted the end of May and unless you book through a third party there should be no resort fee. So get the card and save $.

riviera really isn`t so bad anymore.

we spent a couple of hours there on a couple different days in july and they have been fixing the place up and drink service was waaay better than it was the trip before in april.

we got sunday to friday in september (3 weeks yippee!) for a total of $45.
and they threw in 2 buffets,$10 free slot play and 2 free show tickets.

The place wouldn't do so bad if it wasn't for the location. Imagine it in Imperial Palace's place. It smells better, the rooms are nicer and the pool is identical if not better.

It would probably have Harrah's rates and attract better entertaining and dining options. Maybe they should drop it on top of IP so that a piece of Vegas history can remain intact!
