Trying to figure out what will be the best way to get to the Sands Expo for a convention.

We may or may not have a car, figuring this out will help determine that. Looking at the monorail, looks like you get off at Harrah's, and walk...but walk where? Do you have to go back to the strip and through Venetian?

Thanks, guess I never paid attention it to before.

Yeah..looks like for overall driving is best option, considering we will have some people that cannot walk as much, and have never been in Vegas with us...I can see them getting tired and lost trying to figure out how to get through Harrah's, out, and then through Venetian. Thanks for the link.

The Palazzo garage has two banks of elevators. I think the bank that is closest to the ramps is the one that comes up in the casino near the gift shop, and that'll be a shorter walk to Venetian.

The other bank comes up near the front desk.

So as you come down a ramp, start looking for a spot.

If you have people that have a hard time walking I would recommend dropping them off at the front entrance to the sands expo. That way they don't have to walk as far.

As others have said, parking at the palazzo is closer than parking at the venetian but it still is a 5 minute walk to get to the sands expo, better to drop off your "handicapped" people first so they don't have to walk as far and then drive yourself to the palazzo parking.

I like parking at the palazzo when going to the sands expo. there is an escalator in the middle of the parking lot, it goes up directly to the casino floor, meets almost in the middle of the casino, right where all the paths intersect. I usually park on the lower (lowest) floor as there usually are many open stalls right near the escalator, most people park in the upper floor so there might not be as many open stalls by the escalator.
