I lived in Vegas for a few years but that was 5 years ago. Not thinking I'd be gone this long, I left over a hundred dollars of comps earned playing poker at the MGM, Wynn, and Orleans Casinos. Are they going to be waiting for me?
If you are talking about points on your players card yes they usually expire after about 6 months. At least that's how it works at CET. Since none of those are CET I can't be sure but I'd bet on it.
That's kind of what I figured. I thought Id be back every few months and life got in the way. Super stoked to finally be going back regardless.
Being 5 years you might have to get replacement cards (the MGM card will have to be replaces for sure). As far as comps and points and all that stuff goes it is very unlikely you will have anything. That doesn't mean don't check when you get there, just don't count on anything being there. The reason they don't leave these things open indefinitely is so that they can eventually have some closure on the books as far as accounting goes.
I'm fine with them being gone. I was just wondering because I'm not really planning on necessarily getting to MGM or the Orleans. But, If i had free meals available I might of changed my mind.
For Wynn you would have to go to Wynn or Encore, but for MGM and Orleans you wouldn't have to specifically go to those casinos - you can get your MGM card replaces at any of the MGM properties and Orleans is part of BConnected so if you were Downtown they have a couple of casinos there where you could check.
