Any idea when the next round of mailers will be going out?

We hadn't played on our TR cards for almost 3 years. Went to Tunica last weekend and racked up 200 tier points (pretty good for our low roller budget). Thanks to this, we can now get a room at Ballys for 6 nights in late September for $50 total (previous price before playing was $460).

This is a sweet deal, but I'm hoping to wait for a mailer/email to maybe be able to book a room plus free play and food offers. It's been so long since we got something from them that I can't remember if they send stuff out monthly or quarterly. I don't want to wait too long though in case room prices start going up.

Book the room now, you can always cancel if something better comes along. As far as CET mailers go we get them 2-3 times per week. As a benchmark my wife has about 12,000 tier credits and I have about 11,000 so far this year. We always get 2 of every mailer, one for her and one for me. Free play offfers for us are normally $850-$1000 each. If your total tier credit is 200 for the year I wouldn't be expecting more than what they already offered.

I hadn't played at CET for probably 1 1/2 years. I spent one night at Flamingo, and earned 1300 tier credits and the last magazine that came out, I got free rooms anywhere, but no free play, $50 in food.

I have been watching CET offers online for the past month for our trip Sept. 26 to Oct 3. I am getting comps for Rio, Harrahs, Ballys and Flamingo but they are nowhere near what I was given this past April.
I called minutes ago and booked Ballys for the 2 nights comp, Fri/Sat $77/night and the remaining 3 nights at $30/night. The lady taking the reservation said to check back often because the rates and comps do change and that they haven't rolled out all of the offers for the fall and winter months.

Book it before they change their mind. Think about it. You put approx $1,000 in play. That means the cash you had at risk was of course way less than that. How much can they afford to give you with that bankroll? Looks like they just gave you about $400 worth of goodies to come visit, with no promise you will spend anything.

    Book now.

(no offense - just good business logic)

End of June is the end of the second quarter. Chances are the start of fall offers will come out then. But based on your play history, I don't know that the offers you will get will be much better than what you are getting on the calendar now. I don't think you can expect much more than free or discounted nights. I wouldn't expect free play or gifts.

I would jump on that. I earn 400 - 500 TCs per DAY (which is still low-rolling) and any add-on offers are normally in the $75 or $100 range (unless a show or purse/gift type). They are also date specific and nearly never line up with my travel dates. So I am always happy with the free rooms. You are receiving 5 nights free evidently - they max at that. The $50 is evidently for the 6th night.

If you wait, you risk the occupancy level going up & the comp offer going away. So book immediately if you know your dates. If you need to adjust a day or so ahead or behind (shifting the dates), they can probably easily help you with that later as long as the other nights are still available.

Ditto JGates. My play level is about the same, almost all on VP, which is less "favored". I get plenty of free rooms and any freeplay in Vegas is $50-$100. Jump on that comped room.

No reason not to book it now.

I don't get mailers from them except for my local casino. But my web offers for Vegas tend to update a month at a time, and up to a couple months in advance.

Thanks for the input everyone. I went ahead and booked for the week. The price had changed from $50 total to $40 total, so I'll keep watching it.

Now that you have booked you will have to 'compare' rates using the calendar function on the home page. You can still view the overall rates for your stay via that method. You can't 'input' your dates thru the regular ressie system to see if they dropped. If it did drop to $30 or so for the last night you can then call CET ressies & they can adjust the rate for you. (Can't do it yourself online).

    Does that make sense?
