We are going to see Mystere on our trip next week. Is there a restaruant at TI worth eating at? Or should we go somewhere else nearby? Thanks!!

We usually do the Mystere dinner package with show, buffet, and popcorn for about seventy bucks. If you already have your tickets, I'd still suggest their buffet. It's small, but nice and unique. Quiet little rooms and areas instead of a banquet hall feel. Somewhat dark. I like it.

Thanks! We do have our tickets and I was wondering about the buffet. That would work out great.

Isla is very good. I like Kahunaville too, fun atmosphere as well.

I have to agree, the buffet is small but the limited choices are well made. I think it's a good value if your in the area.

Isla is fantastic!! It used to be part of chef Richard Sandoval's empire (his restaurant Pampano here in NYC, co-owned by Placido Domingo is one of my all time favorite spots). When I went to Isla last September, the food was really spot on (it is not Mexican in the traditional sense - it is more of an upscale Mexican cuisine) and the guacamole was some of the best I have ever had. The atmosphere and vibe of the restaurant is great too.

    I would highly recommend it.

I also want to add that I tried Gilley's for the first time this past April and really liked it. The food was very good and I would recommend the hush puppies as an appetizer, which came with two tasty dipping sauces.

You may also consider mirage next door, then take free tram to ti.

    I like Kokomo's for a more up-scale feel - before or after a show.

Or, Carnegie Deli for a more casual option.

Kahunaville is outstanding. Plenty of food for the price and it is very good food.

I would choose Isla over Kahunaville, unless you were interested in more of a party atmosphere and price. Kahunaville always has coupons.

Although I have visited the Kahunaville bar many times, I only ate there once, for breakfast. There was a moldy dirty-mop-bucket stench that filled the dining room. Turned me completely off and I could never eat there again. Will still visit the bar, though.

I'll jump in with the Isla crowd.

Was there in January for the first time and had a great meal, some awesome margaritas, and solid service. All the food, both mine and the gf's, was great! Guac was killer too!

While I would go along with the Isla suggestions for food, I will never eat there again. They turned a ~$35 bill into $85. No idea if it was deliberate or not. Sadly I didn't catch the error for quite some time.

We are also going to Mystere and have decided to go to Senor Frogs for food first, if you like mex.
