    Hi there,

My first post on the forum, but I have signed up after reading some posts and seeing how helpful this forum can be.

I'm from the UK and am going Vegas this summer with 3 other friends which makes 4 of us total. Some of us went to vegas last summer in a party of 10 and booked club tables and pool parties in advance through one of those hosting/ booking companies.

As there is 4 of us and we are here for 7 nights and are 22 we are looking to go out quite a bit to the big clubs XS, Marquee and the likes of Wet Republic etc.

Having spoke to a few companies which offer hosting and book tables in advance I really get the impression they are inflating the club prices massively to make a big cut themselves. Last year we went and whilst there was 10 of us we had big tables in the main rooms of clubs and cabanas and it worked out quite reasonably. This year some of the prices have been extortionate, way above even West London prices, which takes some doing!

So I ask the Vegas experts and those from the States whoa re more clued up than me. Are me and my friends getting an awful deal using a hosting company and booking in advance, or should we wait till we are there and see if we can get much better deals from the actual club hosts who seem to be pretty abundant in Vegas.

    Any advice much appreciated!!

    Cheers

    club help

I wouldn't book in advance. I am a host at 1 Oak. It is better to find 1 reliable host who can set your whole trip up. The independent companies have to go through a direct host anyway. They charge you a little extra basically to be the middle man between you and the direct club host. Find a host that will work with you to get the best deal. For clients who want to save money, its best to set up the lowest minimum possible. From there you can always upgrade last minute. Let me know if you have any questions. Hope this helps.

Can people put me in the right direction of Hosts who work at XS, Wet, Surrender, Marquee and Tryst please.

Would really like to talk to some hosts directly to get an idea on prices/ availability.

Cheers. If you are or know hosts, feel free to private message me.

    Thanks.

Don't pay for anything until you get there. There's a few reasons for this:

For pools you don't know what the weather will actually be like

Many people have all these big plans, go hard for a couple days then need to take a breather after than, you don't want to sink all your $$$ into something you'll be too tired to enjoy

You don't want to have a problem when you get there over some dispute that you actually didn't pay

I agree with above that you should always go direct, I sent you the contact info I have for my host at Tryst/XS, he, or the above poster can probably help you with the other places.

Just call the clubs or casinos

If you call the club around 4-5 PM Las Vegas time someone will probably answer.

Or, just call the casino and they can put you through to the club.

I have been to a few clubs and I have NEVER used a middleman. I call direct and deal with it all myself. Yes, it is a pain, but if you get exactly what you want.

Obviously, on Friday and Saturday you have little to no chance of getting a deal on a table, but Sunday through Wednesday you probably have a good chance of negotiating. Thursday is an iffy day, sometimes you can and some times you cannot.

XS and Marquee are the hotspots now, so do not expect much opportunity for a deal there.

Has London closed the one lane on the highways yet for the Olympic traffic?

    Thanks for the advice.

No not yet, I commute in London everyday and all I can say is thank god I am on holiday whilst the Olympics is on. It's gonna be hell to travel when it is on.

What do you think the best clubs in Vegas are for the younger crowd, but are trendy with a good atmosphere? We want to go to XS, Tryst and Marquee but are unsure what else warrants a visit.

Last summer we went mad and did too much as we booked in advance, so we wont make that mistake again. We went to surrender, haze, xs, marquee, moon, bank and pools we did liquid, ditch, wet and encore....in a week.

It was great, but there was nights where we had to drag ourselves out because it was painful, and then after the 3rd night i think I was delirious for the rest of the week!

This forum seems great so far, cheers!

    thank you!!

    are club hosts generally reliable?

that is a really helpful list, but its great when you get recommendations off a forum like this where people have used a guy or girl several times.
