May 10-13 Vegas Uncork'd, L'Atelier, Mandarin Oriental

Just remembered a couple tidbits I forgot to put in the trip report.

The first day at the pool as I stayed to closing I ended up talking with the Pool attendant. It turned out before working at Mandarin she had interviewed at Cosmo. They did a group interview and didn't end up hiring her because she was quiet and a bit shy in big groups. So yeah that pretty much capsulizes why I won't stay at Cosmo any more, they hire based on how well you speak in a group as opposed to how well you can do your job. She was great at it too, bringing drinks in time and figuring out when I needed something.

The other thing was I charged my dinner at Sirio back to the room at Mandarin. I asked at the time if I could get tier points for that and they said Mandarin could do that. Yeah they can't, so if you really want tier points for stuff don't charge to your room at Mandarin.
