I did some searching, but didn't find an exact answer to the dress code at strip steak. I found "business casual" and "smart casual". Now, what do those mean?

I'm thinking of spending the weekend wearing nice golf shorts and nice golf shirts or button down shirts. I would prefer to wear nice flip-flops all weekend. Is that appropriate for strip steak? Or should I throw in some pants and/or real shoes?

Thinking of a Saturday night meal.

generally those terms refer to pants/shoes/collared shirt at minimum. but dress codes everywhere in Vegas are very relaxed and you'll see it all.

Business casual is usually defined as slacks with a collared shirt, tie optional
Smart casual could include nice jeans matched with a collared shirt. No tees.

Most restaurants that list business casual clearly state "no shorts", and flip flops would not cut it either.

I have 2 reservations at Wynn restaurants for this weekend that both list the dress code as "business casual", and they both sent an email reminder of the dress code, which was slacks preferred, but nice jeans OK, collared shirt, no shorts, no tees, no kids under 5.

We were there last month and there were people in nicer shorts with button up short sleeve shirts.

Once while late to a reservation at Picasso I walked in with shorts. They didn't want to let me in dressed like that but couldn't turn me away - the only solution? Company pants.

I borrowed a loaner from the restaurant and put the pants on TOP of my shorts.

Yes, I felt like a child.

It would have been very funny if you put them under the shorts

When we ate there last year, a lady was actually in there wearing a swimsuit. They didn't say a word to her. Personally, I think that is taking casual a bit too far.
