Mlife tiers question

This has been an extremely helpful thread. I think I "get" it now.

I'll assume I had "0" points before April, 2011.
Hadn't played in an MLife Property in a couple of years.

April 9 2011 - 11,270 TC's
A couple of hours playing "Lions Share" slot and various other reels in the same area at MGM Grand.

I figured out the April 9th number because that's amount of TC's that just disappeared from my Tier level May 1st, 2012.

July 22-24 2011 - Beau Rivage 2-day Junket + 12,387 TC's = 23,657 TC's
When I got home, I needed 1,343 TC's to reach Pearl Level.

August (?) 2011 - Facebook "Like" Promo +5,000 TC's = 28,657 TC's
Now Pearl Level

Somewhere between August 2011 and April 2012 +1,382 TC's were added.
Not a clue, as I don't remember visiting any MGM property only TI, Red Rock and Downtown.

I receive an offer for three comped nights, $400 free play and two tickets to Elvis at any LV property through July, 2012. I booked Aria for two nights in April (I had never stayed at Aria).

Start with 30,039 TC's. I need 44,961 to reach Gold Level.

I played a total of approx. nineteen hours. The day of check-out, I went to the Players Club desk to use my express points to pay for my meals and they handed me a gold card which expires April 2013. I check my points when I get home 172,709 TC's.

=161,439 TC's

I expect the following to disappear:
-12,387 end of July, 2012
- 5,000 Facebook Promo end of Aug, 2012?
- 1,382 (points I can't account for)

My questions:

With all those numbers, I figure I did accrue 142,670 TC's during my April, 2012 stay at Aria that won't disappear until April, 2013.
Is this correct?
Did the points increase much faster once I attained the "gold" level?

I'm visiting LV next month, though staying Off-Strip, and thinking I may go to Aria to play for about six hours (for a change of scenery) and use my PointPlay ($106.29). How long does "Point Play" last in an account - 12 months?

 

you do get bonus TCs at gold/plat, so yes, you earned them quicker. your best bet is to try to acrue another 28k TCs next trip so you get bumped up to platinum and get that until August '13. otherwise your gold will expire next April.

 

You get accelerated slot points (PointPlay) at Gold and Platinum, but I don't think your Tier Credit earnings get accelerated at any level.

 

Thanks, Shifter - that would explain my large amount of TC's in one short visit.

Chuck, I don't think I got any accelerated "Point Play" points as I only accrued an additional $31.58!
