Vegas virgin from Texas

    Hi! I live near Houston and my hubby & I are finally going to Las Vegas for the first time ever (together or separately). Booked the Bellagio today for a Lakeview Deluxe Resort room. So excited!! Hubby thinks I spent too much on the room ($219/nt + resort fee & taxes) but it's for our 20th anniversary so I want a bit of luxury and we both want a view of the strip.

    If anyone has advice I'm happy to take it. :) We'll be in Vegas in mid-June.

    I use to live in Houston(Bunker Hill area) and just sold my beach house on the West End of Galveston.

    Bubba, even though I lived in Houston and love the city and the state; I was born across the Red River and love my home state just as much. Jealousy is a peculiar thing, espically when its around the 2nd Saturday in October.

    1/2 of Galveston.....really
    Lots of relatives in business
    His family was indirectly involved with Mickey Gilley/Gilley's in Pasadena

    Yes, old news :). I'm not impressed with his chain restaurants, so no burning desire to see his idea of a Vegas casino. Just my opinion :)
