We have been members of this board for 6 years, but I haven't posted very many times. We live north of Austin between Round Rock and Cedar Park. We'll be on our 3rd trip to Vegas 9/20, for Bally's 5-day $224 special, to celebrate our 46th anniversary. Hey, we're young 60 somethings!! We went last year and took two of our girls with us, but this year, it is just us. Looking so forward to it!! We've had some serious health issues this past year, so this is going to be a very special trip!!

KellyLovesLasVegas, we pass thru Houston quite frequently on our way to Louisiana, sometimes thru Katy on I-10 and sometimes on Hwy 290, depending on construction on 290. Love the Katy tollroad!! Sarah9nascar, we don't make it to Dallas very often, but we have friends in Burleson and in the Cultural District in Fort Worth, so we spend a lot of time there. Love it up there!

Thanks, sybgal! Trip before last we won quite a bit on our first night there, and had a great time the rest of the trip spending our winnings. We didn't touch our spending money. That was fun!! The last trip, we didn't win anything, and with our 2 girls with us, ended up spending quite a bit keeping them in gambling money. But, hey, how often do we do that!!

Ahhh, Sam Bass Rd......get your fill of Tex-Mex from the Chuy's on I-35 prior to your trip as there is no authentic in the land of Vegas....but plenty of other goodies....good luck.....

I worked at ACC CYP campus for years. Loved it and loved my students!! I would still be there if I could! I miss it so much.

How is the MGM? We haven't stayed there. We've been there and played in the casino but have never stayed there.
