I'll be in Vegas this weekend and was watching the rooms @ Aria to make sure a suite would be available just in case I decided to upgrade once I arrived. However, I checked the site today and its saying completely booked. I just checked last nite and just about every room was available including the sky suites... Is this normal or do the hotels just block out dates days before your arrival.....

You can just ask at the front desk when you check in if an upgrade is available.

Otherwise it is mother's day this weekend and while there is no one big convention this weekend there is a lot of small and a few medium sized ones going on.

And, what you do not see are rooms/suites blocked by marketing
