Days like today I'd like to pull a scene from the movie "Wanted" (you know the scene) but then my laptop keyboard doesn't detach from it's screen so I'm SOL.

Anyway, have you ever worked with someone who is one of those people who has to make it known that they're really busy by not being able to multi-task or even look up from the computer once and a while. One of those people who is so dramatic about actually having work to do that it just ruins the entire day. One of those people who will ask you.... "Where is the East Coast?" or "What time is it in LA?" or "How do you find % of something using a calculator?"...yes, seriously...

I am just as busy but I multi-task and use my time wisely. Why am I able to read my beloved T2V and look at funny pictures on Facebook during my work day? Because I work EFFICIENTLY. My production is higher and I have more free time. Plus, I'm not a drama queen. Yes, it's busy...I know you're busy...that's what we get paid for. GET OVER IT!

Ugh....ok I feel better now. thanks.

I work with a couple of blondes; they're both drama queens who mostly want to talk about their love lives and their family dramas. Drives me nuts. One of them is currently out, rehabbing from a neck injury and getting ready to move in with her rich BF (oh yeah, both these women are golddiggers); when I emailed her with one tiny bit of gossip she said, "Oh, I really have to come back to work!"; riiiiight, so she's up to date on the gossip, LOL. The other one? One day she wanted to come with me while I assisted with a procedure so she could learn how, but while I was setting up (which she needed to learn how to do) what was she doing? Talking about her love life with one of the nurses...

30 more minutes to 5 and if I can make it she might escape my wrath since it is a Friday. If I get asked to answer the phone one more time I'm going to lose it!

It sounds like you have described about 99% of all the bosses I have had.

Ah, those coworkers too busy doing nothing.
They seems so overworked and stressed yet you walk by their computer and they are playing solitaire.

You sound like you can use a break. Better get on the computer and book yourself a trip to Vegas.

Or there's the lady that I work with...

I retired in 2010 but went back to work part time for a while to get the house paid off. So I've been there for 1 1/2 yrs and she's getting ready to go on her 3rd short term disability for yet another elective surgery. Stays out the 8 weeks max every time. I'm pretty sure it's her vacation "strategy":rolleyes2:
