Has anyone seen the Australian group Human Nature at the Imperial Palace and what did you think of the show?

My wife saw them on DWTS on Monday and they sounded very good doing Motown songs.

Four white guys doing Motown; Maybe the Mayans are right?????? LOL

I saw them (I think 2 years ago when they first opened) and the show was great. I bought half price tickets online. I handed the MaƮtre d' a rolled up $2 and got seated in the front tables.
Smokey Robinson only appears on video, but very entertaining.
Great show for the money - the guys come out after the show to pose for pictures, autographs and sign cd's they sell.

Great show! It was so good the first year, I went back to see it again their second year in LV and enjoyed it as much. Both times I purchased my seats for $43 from GoldStar events online and sat at the tables perpendicular to the stage without paying anything to the Maitre D'. Nice guys, great show, great music. Gregrio prefers to sit up higher (further back) where he says he can enjoy the harmonies better. I prefer front rows mostly. They play to a packed house usually and I am really surprised that not only are they still at the Ip, but that their ticket prices haven't gone up. It's a good show to see if you enjoy Motown.

Another "YES" vote here for Human Nature. We saw them about when they first opened, and on our very next trip, went and saw them again. They are very entertaining and high energy. Watch for them to bring a lady audience member up on stage, to sing with them. We saw the very same lady both times. :rolleyes2:

We even have a PBS recording of them on our DVR at home.

** P.S. -- There is a 2/1 Imperial Palace coupon for "Human Nature" in the Las Vegas Advisor.

Have seen it 4 or 5 times and loved it everytime. Very talented group and if you love Motown you'll love the show. All our friends who we have taken with us loved it too.

HUMAN NATURE is just a wonderful Show for Motown fans!
...seen it 6 times with #7 coming up in July.
    I prefer Booth 307 or 306, Seat 1.

I suggest sitting mid room somewhere (around the sound booth)
REASON: For Human Nature, you're going for vocals...
Vocal sound needs room to open up to sound crisp and clear.
Up front, the vocals are 'muddy'. Mid room to the back, they're
crystal clear, that's why I like Booth 307...it's mid room/center.

I've seated myself in the very back too...great view and sound
and it's usually pretty empty back there.

    Ill be the black sheep

Yes the guys are great singer and have charisma but sadly thats it

Im used to much bigger productions and this show just felt cheap to me from the theatre, the screens, the lights, the videos everything was way below average

If you end up with a seat you don't like (like the back of the 2nd tier of tables), slip the person who seats you some cash when you hand him your tickets and ask for the house booths.

The house booths are on the center level just to the left of the center aisle. Booth 308 seats 3-4 people while booth 309 seats 5-8 people. Booth 307 might be another house booth (and it seats 5-8 people). The view is completely centered and unobstructed with perfect sound...hence the reason they are the house booths.

I normally tip $10 for 2-3 people or $20 for a larger group. I don't know if I'm under-tipping or over-tipping, but they're always happy to give me the booth.

You might want to go early as, even though those booths are not sold unless the rest of the theater is sold out, they will seat latecomers in those booths.

Bouht my tickets at Goldstar also..best prices I found. I was in Vegas with my 32 year old son and wanted to see a show. Did some research and did not see a bad review. Growing up in Detroit, definately a Motown fan.

My son wasn't thrilled about going but he loved the show and ended up buying a cd.

I loved them, great show. The guys are very personable and have charisma. I saw them a second time when they were at Casino Windsor.

We had seet at the tables against the stage. I found them very tight and would not sit there again if I could avoid it.

I agree with Jimbo in being surprised they are still at the IP. However, I heard their contract at IP is up n May so who knows?

We have seen it twice. Loved it both times. I don't think it really matters where you sit in the showroom, the energy of the performance is wonderful.

More info on choosing human nature seats

Now I've seen this Show lots of times an honestly...folks seem to enjoy
it from all over the showroom.
I prefer mid room centerish. Other folks like to sit up front by the catwalks
where the guys come out into the audience from...it's all good.
The reason I prefer mid room is the vocal sound is much better than up front.
Some folks can't tell the difference/some folks don't care, they like to be close.

In re. to the BOOTHS...look at the seating chart.
The BOOTHS to the Right, 307,306,305,304 are for US to buy.
BOOTHS to the Left, 308,309,310,311 are for Maitre d' or guest comp seating.
Talking to one of the Maitre d' one night, he said he needs $10. per person to
re seat someone. Take it for what it's worth...folks have tipped various amounts
and been re seated so.........................that's the way 'he' works it.

In re. to GoldStar...I got one of their VIP tics one time, just to see where they sat me.
It was right up front, first row but.....AGAINST THE FAR LEFT SIDE WALL...TERRIBLE!
I told him NO...he re seated me (no tip) to a center front 'long table'. This also would not
have been my choice, but I sat there for a few numbers just to enjoy the up close and personal
view but then....got up and re sat myself in the very back of the room. GREAT VIEW AND SOUND!

As you folks know, I'm kinda familiar with where I like to sit and...most times, will just pay the
'rack rate' in advance for a guaranteed good seat.
I got a HUMAN NATURE tic the other day for my July trip...BOOTH 307, SEAT 1 by calling the
    Box Office: 1.888.777.7664
I compared a couple discount outfits...(I think I prefer www.bestofvegas.com) but the saving just
wasn't enough and the seat was questionable. I have a guaranteed great seat waiting for me...$87.34
