I have a few questions about it, the credit card gives you $1 in Rewards Credit for every dollar spent correct? Also does this help give you more offers or anything like that with your total rewards account?

I'm thinking of getting the card and start using it, I pay off my card every month so interest means nothing too me. All I really want to know is if the card is worth it for comps?

I have had one for years. There are no extra comps or offers of any substance. You do earn TR points and a CC is a great way to keep them from expiring if you don't make it to a CET prop in 6 months. Also, for mine anyway, no annual fee.

It's $1 for every $100 spent. The same standard 1% that most all CC's have.

Correct. So, it is worth it if you put s significant amount on your card each month. If all you charge is a couple hundred bucks a month, it may not be worth your time. I put a couple thousand a month on the card, so it's a nice way to get a couple free meals whenever I go to vegas

I disagree with Savage. I've had my CC for years.
I am a very very low roller. I put about $1200 on my card every month and get the 1%.
But I seriously believe because of the CC I get comp rooms just about any time in LV, Tahoe and Reno. There is no other explanation.
I've booked my 4 day comped room for Superbowl 2013 today.

Fair enough. I saw no change for me.

Maybe. Lots of people get free comped rooms and do not have a CC.

    Maybe, maybe not.

Its nice because you never have to worry about your rewards credits expiring. One swipe of the card and their good for another six months. Plus you earn extra points when you use it on a CET property.

I have the CC, and my offers are worse this year than ever before. I almost wonder that since I have over $400 in credits coming to me, my offers got worse so that I would have to spend some of that credit on the room.... This is the first time in years that I've had to pay for a room at Paris. Or Flamingo, even! :(

If you buy in the Total Rewards Marketplace with any cc it also keeps your points from expiring, right?

Yes - just make sure to give yourself enough lead time. They have to wait for the merchant to transmit back to them. Some merchants have a lag time to prevent returns - such as making a $500 purchase at Kohl's, returning it a week later but still receiving $15 in credits (one of my rewards sites I believe pays 3% @ Kohls - thus the example).

Most sites such as sunshinerewards & the air travel ones say your credits will post in approximately 45 days.
