Ok, I'll try to wrap this up.....................

back to the hotel, up to the room to change for dinner, had a few minutes to kill, so we walked up to an empty craps table to try to get something going before dinner. No luck, only had about 15 minutes to play, but managed to lose back the $1400 I had won earlier at 4 card poker. All my losing sessions this trip were on the craps table.

Went to dinner at Botero. This place was excellent! Had a ricotta ravioli appetizer that was in a thyme lemon sauce that was out of this world good. My wife had the asparagus salad as her first course.

Then I ordered a 20 oz bone in ribeye with the chimichurri sauce choice. You could order pepper sauce, chimichurri, or one other choice. The nice thing was that the chimichurri was put on the steak ahead of time, and then cooked into the meat. Man was it good! One of the best steaks I have ever had, and that is saying a lot as I have eaten at all the top steak places in LV, + many of the other good ones around the country that are in all those Top 10 steak house lists you see in the airline magazines. My wife ordered the fish deux (something like that) that had two types of fish, and she said that was really good as well. We ordered the Roman artichokes and sauteed Wild Mushrooms as the accompaniments. Both were excellent as well! Topped that off with a nice bottle of 2006 Hirsch Pinot Noir, and we truly had a very enjoyable and excellent meal. Had the bananas foster creme brulee for dessert. Staff and service was great, courses were spaced out without wait or time lag, really enjoyed this meal, will be back again.

Since I was still on the no gamble big mode, we decided last minute to go see Le Reve since we had not seen this show yet. Called my host and he had two third row center tickets waiting for me at the box office.

Show incorporates elements of O, some of the other Cirque shows with the 2 strongman routine, acrobatics into the water, etc. Story is dark, but overall the show is good. I think I would have liked better if we had gone to the early show instead of the late show, as after dinner and the long day, we were pretty tired. Show was about 2/3 full for the late show on a Sat. night.

Got up early Sunday, ordered some more room service, check out was a breeze, and hit the road.

Overall - really impressed with Encore. It has the feel of a boutique hotel. Not too crowded, no strollers, great, great personal service and attention to detail. If you are staying in the Tower Suites, the dedicated check in, lounge, and valet make everything a breeze with never a line or delay. Each time we got our car within 2-3 minutes of handing over our valet ticket. Lots of staff around the casino always asking if you need anything, help, directions, etc. CW service was excellent as well. We had the salon suite room which was spacious and nicely appointed, only complaint would be no steam shower.

gambling overall - + $29,400. Won it all in one quick BJ session. Won on bacc + 4 card poker, lost the same amount back on craps.
Feels good to have back / back winning trips as every trip last year was win one, lose one, all year long. Keep the winnings from the previous trip, and send it right back the next trip. Hope of course to keep the streak alive next trip early May for the Pacquiao fight.

Pink's Hot Dogs and a couple of hours relaxing on the strip:

Late one eve, a few of my tag alongs wanted to try Pink's Hot Dogs so we did it. I love them personally and it was a nice slight breeze in the 50's and we sat on the strip. Drank a few beers and some some dogs, sheese fries and onion rings. Total cost about $60.00. Thought that wasn't too bad.

Stay tuned and the next couple of days will post a full detailed T.R.

    Leaving tonight.

Packing up and bags to to limo service for later. Across the street to Cafe Bellagio for a bite.

Hitting the Louis Vuitton store, LOL, getting to be a staple these damn purse stores, huh Rich?????

Lost $10K at The Encore. Lost $12K at Planet Ho (what's new?) Lost $1K on a dare bet at Harrahs before the Legends show. Brighter side. Won $32,400 at The Mirage. Won $27,100 at The Bellagio. Won $5,500 at M. Bay and won $2,500 on one bet at The Tropicana.

$44.5k up. Comp level at Planet Ho about $7K. Comp level at MGM about $6K (was not staying there, those were hard comps called in or tix, etc.)

Used only about $350.00 of my express comps and started this trip with about $1,200 in express comps I think. This morning my MLife says I have $2,400 in express comps available. WHich is nice cause now it is a self comping system for almost all of their resturants and show tix and even some other events and misc. So, I am hoarding those express comps.

WIll get back on tomorrow and post details.

I can't find it on their website: is there an extra charge for the champagne? How much? And is it "real" or sparkling wine?

Enjoying the TR. Awesome wins. I can only dream :nworthy:

You can find it under Jasmine Resturant I do believe on The Bellagio's website.

I can't tell you if it includes the champange??? I have heard it referred to as The Jasmine Champagne Sunday Brunch and also as Jasmine Fountains Sunday Brunch.

I have seen bottles of Louis Roederer Champagne being served many times in the past, I know Louis Roederer has some expensive ones, upwards of $250 a bottle but they do have their regular one which runs about $35.00 in a discount store I think.

Personally I never look at the bill cause I am either staying at an MGM property and it gets signed back to the room or my Bellagio host called in a comp to cover everything.

The place is awesome and not as huge as others and if you can get the reservations I dont think you will be sorry. It is 5 star!
