At zazoocrackers at wynn in march. Guy sits down right across the table from us and it is Doug Flutie. Was watching a CFB game in adjoining sportsbook. Nice guy and signed a few autographs with no attitude at all. PH about 3-4 years ago when they had the grand opening party, Gene Simmons was walking around about 3 hrs before the red carpet festivities like he was a king. Sunglasses at night and thought he was a god. Coupe of years ago at KOI in PH we were having apps at the bar and went in the dining room to take view of the strip. Only one long table was occupied and it was Chuck Liddell and his entourage. They had a big MMA event that weekend at Mandalay.

Been at a table in Pure beside Mark Wahlberg and Giovanni Ribisi in the VIP area. Very cool guys

Seen DMX at a Craps table in Ballys like 5 years ago

Seen Richard Karn (Al Borland on Tool Time) at Mirage. Gaggles played craps with him.

Mike Tyson at Bellagio, he is one scary looking man in person.

Saw Chuck Liddell at McCarran once and my friend made the comment he's out of shape (jokingly) in December 2010 and then he retired like a month later?

MCHammer was on my Virgin America flight home to San Francisco in Jan. 2010. Also saw TD - Terrell Davis playing craps at his own table at Palazzo. TD was still strong guy when i saw him and i was like whoa, he must have been even bigger when in playing shape. Too bad he got hurt.

Oh and Gary (basketball player). My guess would be the glove, Gary Payton who played with Seattle and the Lakers?

    Bunches of them

    First one I remember

Joan Collins shopping at the Fashion Mall back in the 1990s.

Met and talked with Steve Forbes for quite sometime(when he was still a possible presidential candidate) at Mirage, he still sends us a canned Christmas card every year. His daughters are attractive women.

Charles Barkley gambling at Bellagio. He was smiling and friendly.

The multiple, obligatory Pete Rose citings. Pretty much looks like a grouch.

At the Palms I have seen way too many to even list. Lots of basketball players and owners and David Stern.

    Notables

I was in the Palms Pool with Chuck Liddell and his entourage. Early 2000s. The woman he had was WAY too hot and I was worried if he caught me looking at her he would have killed me. But I had to look. HAD TO. Death was worth it.

Adrienne Brody after he won the Oscar he was at a dinner table next to me in N9NE Steakhouse.

Ran right into Rob Schnieder as he was exiting the pool area through the doors I ran right into him. Security missed blocking people coming from the casino out to the pool. That is a little guy.

OJ Simpson. I was THIS CLOSE to him. No, I did not shake his hand.

I had drinks and a talk with Jessica Simpson's Dad and Ryan Cabrerra when he was dating the younger Simpson. They were truly unimpressed with me.

cool post. unfortunately I like others have probably seen some famous people & just didnt know them in person, I am bad that way.
But I did play poker @ MGM with some guy from sportscenter once, if that counts. Dont remember who it was. The whole time I am sitting there thinking "WHO IS THIS GUY ?". After he left I asked the table and a couple of the guys said OH, that was ?????? from sportscenter.
And also, just in case I meet someone famous next weekend, 2 nights ago I did have a dream that I met someone famous, and my mind tells me it was Nicholas Cage. We will see. I may be psychic.

Kinda along the lines of "celebrities..." About 5 years ago my brother in law and I were sitting at the Omaha airport getting ready to board. He was reading a poker book, and out of the blue he says "If I see Scott Fischman in Vegas, I'm gonna punch him in the mouth." It was just one of those random thoughts that he blurted out for no reason.

Fast forward about three days, and we're strolling through Wynn for the first time. We naturally check out the poker room, and they were getting ready to go on break on a $10k tournament they were playing. Who do I see at the table, but none other than Scott Fischman. I start proding my BIL saying "you said you were gonna do it, here's your chance! Don't back out now, Sally!" Scott walked right along the rail in front of us, but alas, my BIL didn't keep his word.

Now whenever we leave for Vegas we say something like.... "If I see Jennifer Tilley in Vegas, I'm gonna motorboat her." Since that hasn't happened yet, I assume the "magic" in his statements is gone......

Johnny Chan, and Mike the Mouth were also playing. I've seen all the major poker pros (Brunson, Hellmuth, Daniel N, etc...)

We ate lunch once at Monte Carlo's pub, and Alan Thicke and his family were at the table next to us.

On my last trip, I saw Minotauro Nogueira walking through Wynn with his twin brother, and a few hot busty blondes. I thought about asking him if anyone's ever called him a p***y before, and then running, but refrained.

Pete Rose of course, but not at the usual Caesars spot. Saw him last year at a Japanese restaurant on Paradise as we left. DW got a picture with him and one of our party got his autograph and he didn't charge for it!

Saw Dolly Parton filming Miss Congeniality 2 at the Venetian.

Saw Sen. Al Franken in line with me at the Southwest check-in line at LAS and said hello.

Saw Doyle Brunson of World Series of Poker fame sitting at Binion's bar having a drink during one of my first trips to Vegas.

    Let's see:

In the airport waiting for a friend in baggage claim, Tito Ortiz and Jenna Jameson walked right by me and stood next to me for about a minute. Embarrassed to say it was odd to see her fully clothed. Did not look at her much though as Tito is a chiseled brick of a man.

Walked behind Sigfried once near the Mirage. No denying it was his fried white hair in front of us.

Bumped into Gretzky once at Bellagio. No truth to the rumor his wife was the one doing most of the gambling that weekend.

Went potty (#1) next to Bob Love (ex-Bulls player from the 70's) in a bathroom in the Monte Carlo. We washed up and bumped taters afterwards.

If anyone watched MTV "Real World", I saw C.T. at Mandalay once with a group of similar C.T.'s. Seemed very impressed with himself.

Last trip out I had "Bikini Girl" from Idol deal to me and some friends at the Playboy Club in the Palms. Actually, a pretty nice gal.

Numerous poker players over the years: Mike Sexton, Men the Master, Ivey, etc. Not sure if they count, but they're on TV and I'm not, so I count it.

Saw Scott Disick (Kourtney Kardashian's beau) at the Wynn last year. No biggie at all, but the closest to celeb sighting that I've had.

Not a lot for me. I saw Vince Neil in the Diamond/Platinum hotel check in at Flamingo, he was waiting for his rep. to check him in as he was giving a free show at Carnival Court that night for his tattoo parlour anniversary.

I almost walked on Danny Bonaduce, on another trip to the Flamingo on a Saturday night, headed to the restroom and past the line for X, very crowded, and this little guy, comes barrelling out of the line in my path and I almost walked right over him and noticed it was Danny Bonaduce.

James Valentine bassist from Maroon 5 was at IP karaoke when it used to be where Rockhouse was, he was a bit drunk and even got up and played the pink inflatable guitar for a song my wife did, and I have the DVD of it, since they were offering it as an option at that time.

I'm sure I've seen more and possibly even met some, it's just I don't think about it much when I'm there, and I wouldn't recognize 90% of the b class celebs or athletes if you paid me. Every once in a while on a trip I will think about the fact of how easy it would be to run into someone though, even if they are betting higher limits, there are plenty of situations where they are essentially on the same totem pole as you in Vegas.

Oh yeah. I rolled the dice for a few minutes at a craps table at Aria when Flavor Flav was at the opposite end.

Like another poster, I am horrible at spotting celebrities.

Last march (2010) I nearly bumped into Dennis DeYoung (lead singer of STYX) at the Orleans as he stepped off of the Elevator. He was there performing in the showroom.

Several years before that we were at the Wynn during the inaugural Wynn Classic. Saw virtually every name in Poker. While waiting for Spamalot to start, we sat in the bar next to ZooZu crackers watching a March Maddness game. During a poker tournament break Mike Sexton from WPT sat down next to us. I waited for the game to go to commercial and got an autograph for my son.

I'm pretty bad about recognizing or even knowing who anyone is, so the only celebrities I see are pointed out to me. Here's a few Vegas sightings, though.

On my first trip to Vegas 13 years back Brooks and Dunn were shooting craps at the Hilton. I asked what the excitement was about and someone told me.

A few years ago, Carrot Top passed by my buddy and I as we crossed the bridge to the Luxor. We used to joke about how much we hated Carrot Top, but we were both paralyzed with fear and couldn't say anything smartassed because the Top was built like a roided-out brick shithouse.

I saw Steve Wynn walk through surveying the scene at his casino floor while I was playing BJ (a dealer pointed him out to me).

I was in Venetian on New Years when Kim Kardashian was making her way through. It was a mob scene loaded with crazy fans jumping to get a view and Paparrazzi snapping a million photos.

My buddy pointed out the guy from Pawn Stars at Palazzo playing slots. He shook his hand and was very gracious.

I was told Paris Hilton just walked by when I was playing BJ at Cosmo two weeks back, but I didn't even see her.

I probably wouldnt even notice to be honest.

My friends spotted Thad Luckinbill at Mandalay Bay (been in movies but they knew him from the Young and the Restless). He was awesome - took a few pics with us and it was one girls bday so he made a video wishing her a happy birthday and then later on when he saw us walking through the casino he made it a point to say hello again

I also met The Undertaker whos name is Mark Calloway MGM. I sat next to him at a bar and had a full convo with him. I ddint know who he was at first until i saw his tattoos. Pretty cool guy.

And i dont know if this counts as a celebrity but i met Octo mom walking around in Planet Hollywood. o yeah and last but no least i met heidi fleiss at the Rio. She looked like she was stoned
