    My Trip Report

Our trip was actually 5 nights and started out with 3 nights at Palazzo, but since I know that currently there is more interest in Cosmopolitan then LVS casinos I wrote up the last 2 days first. It's very long and has a lot of photos.

We stayed in a wrap around terrace suite with a Bellagio Fountain view and ate at Scarpetta, Jaleo, Holstein's and Wicked Spoon Buffet while there. I will write up the 3 nights at Palazzo later in the week. I hope you enjoy reading it.

    Thank you!!!

I loved the VIP Lounge. A lot.

I loved your balcony on your room and the view from it.

I was going to go check out the place on my next trip but I might have to really look into the VIP services. It looks like they are offering VIP services like I used to remember.

Loved the TR, as always! Will be interested to hear about your time at the LVS properties, also.

nice trip report evoni, can't wait to get their myself.

Was your suite the NW corner of the East tower? I though the ***78 suites were the NE cornes but it still looked like you had a good view of hte fountains.

Thanks for the TR. I was very interested in your comments on the Cosmo: I've heard/read quite a few other reports that say the hotel is still working through problems, both staff related (pleasant staff, but not knowledgeable about the property) and technical.

I have a Terrace Suite booked in May and assumed that these, while not their best rooms, would have a great view. Not so sure now considering you were in a Wraparound Suite:rolleyes2:

Anyone stayed in a Terrace Suite and know which rooms numbers have Bellagio fountain views (if any)?

HAHA!!!! Yeah, the High Limit Slots are can be dangerous for a lowballer or mid-roller if not paying attention . . .

I'm used to going into High Limit Slot areas and playing some video game for 9 lines at a buck a line or pulling away for a while at a $10 slot machine (2 credits at $5 each). I didn't really register the scene properly when I put my voucher (about $600) into one of the machines and started pushing the 9 line button . . . soon wondering why there were only 20 credits left on the machine . . . because it was $5 a credit (not $1), that's why. I lost about $500 in less than a minute, hahahaha!!! Good times.

Love your TR's -it's like having a personal travel journalist - you always hit on the most important aspects & I think between your detail, the photos & your writing style you make others trips better!

My sense of direction in Vegas is still poor no matter how often I go. Since the wrap around terraces do wrap around one gets 2 views. We were in East tower overlooking Bellagio fountains and Paris and toward Wynn. The other part of the terrace didn't have such a great view instead of looking down toward Mandalay Bay we had what I think of as the back view of Rio hotel and surrounding areas. :) Would the NW corner have given us both Bellagio Fountains and the view down toward Mandalay Bay?

Thanks everyone, glad you enjoyed the Cosmopolitan portion of my trip report.

Pinny Long, I was very careful this time in the high limit slot room after doing something similar to what you described back in October when I put a big TITO in what I thought was the $1 DaVinci Diamonds at Bellagio and it ended up being $5 and I was betting $100 a push. Why, when I make these mistakes can't I get lucky and have a win? ;)

Great report and thanks for all the nice pictures! Heading to PHO Sunday and will definetly be playing some at Cosmo. A friend was there during Super Bowl and had lots of nice wins on the slots! Nothing real big, but he said they were pretty loose! Sounds good to me! thanks again!

Yeah sounds like NW, basically MGM hotels are on the West side of the strip and CET stuff is on the East with Wynn being North and Mandalay Bay being south, so it does sound like you had the NW view :)
