    My Trip Report

OK, it's 2 am EST and my contacts are so dry I can barely see the keyboard to type this. After 2 bottles of some very nice wine, a sumptous dinner, and the company of a very lovely lady friend, I should be fast asleep. But I am not. I'm up, typing away in a drunken ramble. Why? Because in a few short hours I am off to Mecca and I am too darn jazzed to sleep! My Vegas cherry is about to be popped and I am as giddy as a school boy about to pick up his date to the high school prom (remember those days?). My bag is packed and the dog has been delivered to the kennel. At long last I can once again follow in the footsteps of my old college hero, Hunter Thompson! 28 years after reading that wondrous tome, I am finally going to be there. This is more than a vacation for me, it is a pilgrimage. Is this some middle aged attempt to recapture lost youth? So What!! The voice of my large Samoan Attorney is strongly advising me to go and I must heed. Copious amounts of alcohol will be consumed, cigars smoked, women ogled, porn slappers slapped, large amounts of cash squandered and I WILL have a good time! Will there be an epiphany whilst driving the strip in a great red shark at 4 am? Stay tuned....

One last ramble - I will miss reading the posts this week. You guys are Da BomB!

I believe the man has come up with his own unique way of answering the "When does your vacation begin?" thread.

I have to agree with him though...as the ole' countdown timer winds down I'm gonna miss reading all of your posts this week as well. I intend to make up for that with copious amounts of food and alcohol (not necessarily in that order) and a hunt for a good bj table with real odds. [IMG]

This better be one good trip report, rambill... [IMG]

This town loves a drunk -- fresh meat. So they pushed us through the turnstiles and turned us loose inside.
