  1. Hey Yall,
Got back on saturday from 3nights in vegas for spring break. Just thought I would post a few highlights of the trip, sorry for taking so long, what kinda professors give exams week after spring break??

Im starting to think we can do better than Southwest. Went from N.Orleans to Houston, then to Austin, where we were supposed to pick people up, but southwest canceled the flight and made us exit the plane, go to another terminal to catch another plane. We didnt have to check in if you had your stub, well mine was sitting nicely in the front of the seat. So I had to re check in, barely making the flight(but i did get to rid the buggy cart thing) But hell least we made it!

We stayed at the Monte Carlo and enjoyed it very much. Very nice room and noise wasnt a factor, of course we were hardly in there. Went to pool area once to try and get rid of hangover, damn that lazy river is far from lazy, shot me around like a rocket and I must of ran into 23 kids going around. But it was a nice area.

Friend tried the $20 trick at check in. Went to a nice looking lady, on to see her name tag have "Supervisor" on it. Tried anyway and was shot down.

I dont think we gambled at the Monte Carlo any the whole trip, maybe a slot here and there. Spent most of our time at cheaper establishments.

First night went to a suprisingly crowded studio 54, had a great time as they played wide range of music and was only $10 to get in. Friend and I got in around 4am, while other never left the roulette table before passing out around 2am.

Next day was the early pool trip and then off to downtown. We have been over 5 times and never been so we decided to give it a try. Enjoyed ourselves, lost some money at various places. The 301 bus trip back took forever.

Night we gambled some then went to Foundation Room atop Mandalay Bay. Very cool, awesome view, expensive drinks. Stayed for about an hour then gambled some more. I ended up having a great night at the tables and well lets just say I decided to live like a rock star. hahah. Ended up going to Studio 54, Rain, Risque and some place called Seven that night. Cab Fares and entry fees took most of my winnings and I ended up losing my friends that night (we seperated at MGM) haha.
Realized it was daylight out and made the drunken walk home from Casino Royale (why did I end up here?) to Monte Carlo. Had a good laugh when saw lady and her kid outside a breakfast shop "Mommy is breakfast open yet" while Im in same clothes, smell of smoke and drunk, thinking "im wondering the same thing kid"

Woke up around 1030 and walked around the strip. Does Ceaser Palace get bigger each time or what?

Night we gambled, drank. Tried to go to Orleans for some cheap roulette, but were waiting in tram line when friend said there was $1 roulette in Barbary Coast. We gambled for a good while and met two nice flight attendents, who for somereason took a liking to myself and my drunken friend. We tried to go back to the Foundation Room, but forgot it was night before big fight and they said they were full. we ended up gambling more and showing the ladies around. haha. Tried to take a 430am swim with them, but the security guard told us we had to leave. He was very nice about it and laughed with us, said it "happens all the time"

Flight left at 8am sat. morning, we got in at 530am. Friend calls for wake up and sets alarm. Next thing I hear is "Damn It, its 7:15, wake up yall" Asked friend later if he got wake up call and alarms--"yes but I didnt know who was on the other line of the call" That is what crown and cokes do to ya. Fortunately our flight was delayed a few minutes and our cab driver was Tony Stewart, and we made it. Also found out no sleep hangovers on planes arent fun, especially hot plane rides.

All in All great trip, im leaving a good bit out, just thought i would give yall the basic of it all.

    some good quotes I remember

"There has to be a catch to crapless craps"
    "yeah dont hit 7"

"Come On Secruity Guy, we are just trying to get romantic"
"It's a great place to, but ya gotta go"

Having $5 on Red 23 and hitting something else
    "Now thats just dumb"

    After losing that
"Look James, I want all the money I lost and all the money yall took in tonight" (if anyone has seen Harlem Nights"

hope yall enjoyed, we sure did. Going back Aug. 12-15 as of right now for myself and friends graduation bash.

    Funny trip report.

Sounds like you guys had a lot of fun. Too funny getting kicked out of the pool by security.

They have one in New Orleans and membership works at all four foundation rooms (Vegas, Orleans, New York, not sure of other one) Know someone here with membership and he gave us his card, they didnt check id's or anything. We showed them the card and they let 3 of us up.
