    My Trip Report

    Well ladies and germs....

....after reading thru Gaggles "name the trip report" thread I could go no further than BossPlayer's suggestion for a December trip report name. It's got a combination of holiday cheer and Hookers & Blow.

How can you do better than that?

As the countdown rapidly approaches the 3-week mark I feel compelled to begin this trip report as I can no longer contain my excitement inside the 2 foot by 4 foot kennel my family uses to store me between meals and bathroom breaks. "Kennel BeeeJay, Kennel":nono: Oh yeah, and Vegas trips.

One term that has been overused as much as my promise to "quit chasing", or that this was my "last trip", is the term EPIC.

This trip will be truly EPIC.

Maybe not in the literal sense of my last trip aboard the NCL "Epic" (highly recommended reading)......

or even as in-YO-face as the juvenile delinquent East Dillon student named "Epic" on Friday Night Lights:

No this trip is set to be Epic in more the Ocean's Thirteen sense. Primarily because of the cast:

    Gaggles
    Macker
    JNCVH
    3 other Lethbridge natives
    3 of BeeeJay's professional acquantances

and yeah I, BeeeJay, will be going to make sure no one stays up past midnight!!!!!

The location of course is key, as most of the crew will be staying at the FABULOUS FLAMINGO on the LAS VEGAS STRIP!!!!

While Gaggles and I will be enjoying our much posher rooms on top of the hill where Rome was founded, at Caesars Palace, and it better be in the Augustus Tower if you want a dime Fat Boy Loveman.

Legend has it Rome was founded on Palatine Hill by two parent-less wolves. Isn't it ironic that this epic trip will be incited by two godless wolves on the modern-day replica of that very hill?!?! A wolfpack, running through the desert, in search of Hookers & Blow.

Indeed. But the original Caesar didn't plot his course of wretched debauchery in the Diamond Lounge!!!!!:beer::beer:

The trip roster includes a total of 10 players, but only the first-stringers will be in for the whole game.

I'll be arriving first, Wednesday Dec 15th and departing late the evening of Sunday, the 19th. Jason and my three friends will be in that night, along with I believe 2 of the Lethbridge Elite who I don't know but I believe are pro-bowl material as they will be in the whole time. Gaggles is set to arrive early Thursday. My crew of 3 friends are outta town Friday night just in time to sub bench player Macker and another Lethbridge buddy.

Ok, ok enough bashing, I'm sure Macker has class and work, and how can you not respect that? Now my friends going home Friday night are gonna have to receive a talking to, or in the case they might be hot girls, and I'm not saying they are, a severe tongue lashing.:Þ:evillaugh:Þ (maybe Macker can take care of that at the Gate as they board his inbound plane).

The plan from this point forward could have been said no better than it was by a Lethbridge native in a recent discussion:

"No structure or agenda for me boyz. Its balls to the wall, whatever way the 21 dotted red cubes fall and whatever way the wind blows!!!! Hookers and blow....getter done!"

next time I'm in Nebraska I'll have to send Larry the Cable Guy up to Alberta to teach a proper "git 'er dun".

anywho, not much planned, the only planning on my part has been reserving a SWA flight, a couple limos, a comped room in the Palace Tower at Caesars (again, Gary, let's upgrade that to the Augustus Tower!!!!), and of course this wouldn't be much of a December report if I hadn't reserved a couple nights at the newly opened Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas in this Wraparound Terrace Suite:

    <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/XRPcncnX0uI?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/XRPcncnX0uI?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>

I'm not sure how this will compare to last year's City Center/Aria grand opening, but I'm hopeful the hotel will be better, and hopefully Alexanbo, Pnut and Airball find a way to make it to Vegas so we can properly christen this bad boy!!!

    Let the SMACK TALK begin!!!!

Glad to hear you'll be joining many others at the Cosmo opening. I'm booked into a measly terrace suite but hopefully can bump up to the wraparound.

Ya know, i was planning on being in vegas that week, but thought better of it and decided to delay until likely july again as to build up a little more frivolous funding. It would have been a trip if i could meet up with the legendary group of debauchers. BeeJay, have a good one.

Not sure what deal you reserved under, but it might be worth your while to take a look at the price of the wraparound under the "so totally over it" promotion in comparison to your current rate on the terrace suite. It might be worth the required full prepayment at this point as its only 3 weeks away.

I went with the City Living package ($260 f&b credit). I booked it at $616 for a terrace and a few days later it went up to $880ish.

Yeah. I went back to upgrade to the wraparound for $150 more a few days later but they'd already increased the prices. Damn...

    really? Really? REALLY?

    Who blew the AAA guy?

"ARIA Resort & Casino In our debut year, ARIA has received the coveted AAA Five Diamond Award®!! Only .27% of all properties rated in the U.S. have been given this distinction and even fewer in their first year of operation! Woo hoo!"

well normally I fill it with a bunch of last minute reservation changes, but since I'm not comped anywhere anymore, (well except Monte Carlo and Harrah's props) I don't see any changes.

Like "The Gentlemen's League", I think we are going to have to rely on smack-talk going forward.

This seems appropriate for this upcoming trip even though I don't think Alexanbo is coming
