    My Trip Report

Southwest out of Tampa. Flight was real bumpy when we hit Arizona but landed 6:30 pm Vegas time. Luggage took forever to come out. Took the shuttle to Bally's, where I was comped for 3 nights. Short line and I asked for a room high up. Nice guy upgraded me to North Tower Rm 2283. Room was very nice and BIG. Our view was the Stage Door Casino and Battistas Hole in the wall.No problem. Off to Nosh to grab a quick sandwich. Pastromi was tasty but sliced to thick for me. Hit the casino and quickly lost $150....stupid triple diamond slots..ha. It's now 4 am EST ....off to bed.

5 hrs sleep. My son went and got us Krispy Kreme donuts & coffee. Time to hit the road Jack !
I bought the Las Vegas Perks coupon book and really got my $$ worth with that. Lots of 2-1 for shows and food.
Next stop Casino Royal..they had a promo sign up and get $ 50 free slot play. Did that and didn't win... ended up playing a triple diamond with stars penny machine and kept hitting on that. Betting 45 cents a pull - played a long time on that !

Off to I P to get tix ( 2-1) for Human Nature for Thu. Used my Harrah's Rewards to pay for them...so Free tix ! Next stop was Harrah's for tix to Legends in Concert that night. Yup....free works for me !
Had $ 25 free slot play ea at Venetian where I was still chasing those damn triple diamonds...
Lunch was at a Gourmet italian sandwich shop ( Bella something ) at Venetian. Son had a de-lish chicken ceasar wrap & I had a meatball sub..good stuff and yup 2-1.

We decided to do the Madam Tussauds museum.....had a fun time and lots of laughs posing with all the wax figures. pics are a riot ! hit all the casinos on the way back to Bally's. Had about one hour to get ready for the night..

No way I'm walking all the way to Harrah"s...ha ..took the monorail. Worth the 5 bucks. Legends was a great show ! They did Elton John-Faith Hill & Tim Mcgraw- Donna Sommers- Michael Jackson and of course Elvis.
Dinner was the buffet at Harrah's....decent food and yup 2-1.

see a trend here with the 2-1 coupons ? haha

Back to Casino Royal and the triple 7's pennies....I like that machine. ! Kept hitting for 200- 600 and 1,000...High Roller that I am :rolleyes2:
Bellagio Fountains are beautiful, as usual. Hit Paris and back to 25 cent Triple Diamonds. 75 cents a pull...biggest hit was $85 bucks. Whoopie..
1 am and I'm done !! Time for bed....

Thu- Planet Hollywood and found those triple 7 slots...triple my money and move on. Oh Ya ...did that 5 min neck massage in the mall area. Felt good for most of the day...Made our way down to M&M where I loaded up bags of goodies to send home for my Grandkids...That's what Nana is for...ha
Did the MGM Grand lion habitat...lions were sleeping.
    Lunch was Nathan's Hot Dog..yup 2-1....haha

No way I'm walking back to Bally's. Monorail again.

On the way to see Human Nature....hit Bill's-O'sheas and the Flamingo buffet for dinner. Prime rib was better here than at Harrah's. Human Nature was all Mo-Town.. Excellent show...and yupper 2-1...
back to Bally's and played till 2.am. All this action is catching up with me...I'm pooped !

Friday is a blur ...Time to move over to Paris. Son has a convention there. He got early check in...10 am..yay ! Just had to walk over and right up to room.
Breakfast was the buffet at Bally's... ( NO 2-1 )I'm sure that lb of bacon I had really helped my cholesterol...lol

Took the shuttle over to Rio. Lost. lost. lost. Son won $120. I'm outta here. Shuttle back to Harrahs. Hitting all the casinos, decided to take the bus downtown. just FYI...they do not have the machines to buy bus passes at all the stops. We were at Venetian- no tix machine and had to walk to Wynn .
When I coudn't walk another step, I parked myself at the Fremont and a triple 7 machine. The light show was " Bye Bye American Pie" very cool...
Dinner was Tony Roma's....all good and yep 2-1....

Took the bus back to Paris, Bellagio Fountains and last hurrah on some new machines...hit for about $ 80 bucks....
Early morning flight and son has to work tomorrow. All in all a fun time and I came home with 1/2 the money I brought. That's a win. !!

    Thanks for reading...

Definitely a win!! Glad you were able to recover your report without having to rewrite. I'd like to do the 2fers but I usually travel alone!

Using as many coupons/2-4-1s as possible - definitely a page out of my book! Have never done Flamingo's buffet but may give it a shot as i love prime rib. Didn't realize there was still a weekday buffet at Bally's? Went a few years back to one but thought they closed it...

    Ballys Buffet

Great trip report. I also bought the LVPerks and found it to be a great couponbook. Has the buffet at Ballys re-opened? Hope so.
