late trip report for dec 14 - 20

Hi all out there, we flew out of Toronto Canada on Northwest at 6 30 am to arrive in Vegas at 12 30 pm Vegas time which had a connecting flight out of Detroit which had to be deiced twice. We stayed at Aladdin in deluxe room and i tryed the 20 dollar upgrade but the lady either had nothing or would not give the free upgrade, i kept the 20.
we did some shopping for the soon to be wife whos 5mths pregnant first and then eat at Tony Romas which was great food. then head back to hotel to catch some zzz befor we head out to La in car rental we get to La and line up for the "price is right show". this is a all day thing we get in the show but not on it. then we check out the tourist places in La. head back to Vegas we get there 11pm and hit the sack again. ( i know no gamgling yet)
day 3 we sign up for hotel cards to play slots and lose 60 in the nickel slots and i lose at the tables we eat breakfast at Paris buffet and after four plates i can barly move but it was good. we spend the day walking in and out of the strip casinos playing here and there a little. wife getting tired again so take her back to hotel and i go to Tropicana and play bj start with 100 on the $5 table and lose most of it then luck turns and i get 60 back, it is 3am and i have to get married in the morning so i bet 40 and hit bj and leave for hotel. but wait have not been in New York so i check that out and lose 30 more, time to sleep.
day 4 women comes to hotel to do wifes hair and make up and all those things so i play slots while i wait. 1230 a limo picks us up and we head to "a little white chapel" where we are married after 8 years together. we have a small lunch at Carrows befor our dinner at Elemets in Aladdin. the dinner is 14oz steak and veggies which was the best steak we have ever had then go to the Steve Wyrick show at 10 it was a great show.
day 5 we went to one of those timeshare shows and we were impressed and were going to buy but did not. what a waste of 4 hours of Vegas time. we got free tickets to The STRAT tower and their buffet and superstars show for the next day so we eat the buffet which is ok but would not go back there for lunch. we head to the craps table and get the wife to buy in at a slow table and she's the shooter and she loses 20 in 3 rolls. then we play slots and lose some more. we do some shopping in the dessart passage and then play Aladdin's no risk slots game get our free gifts and play our 10 in free play on the slots and i win 8 bucks the wife loses all hers. played some more then head to Ben and Jerry's for icecream that we never had befor,we start checking out the casinos we have not been to Luxor , Mandalaybay , MGM. at MGM we find the myjestic lions slots and put $100 in one and play hitting nothing so we switch machines and still nothing yet the women down from us hits 200 twice same machine so we talk to her and in 30 min she has hit three jackpots on 3 different ones each for just over $1000 we ask her to play for us. we lose the rest of the 100 and some other lady hits 200 twice in three spins. we try to check out the real lions at 9pm when we were told they feed them but not tonight, just are luck. so we head to hotel and grab a snack on the way. the wife goes to bed and i head to Saraha to play bj again loseing 40 go get more money and win some back but not all befor i call it a nightat 4 am.
day 6 we had brunch at Paris buffet and then walked on the strip checking places out like the fountains, Ceasars , and we go downtown to check out Freemont street and play some downtown at the cheap tables. at 8 we head to the tower again and i go on the bigshot ride and then head to our superstars show for 10pm grabbed some drinks for the show after waiting for server that never comes. shows good not bad for free.
day 7 we check out at 11am and go eat at Aladdin's spice market buffet which is by far the best dinner buffet we have had so far the choices were great and dessert was too i had three. we play more slots then head to walmart to buy more luggage to bring everything back that we have got we find Booberry cearel and frankinberry too so we buy them to bring back as we can't get them here in canada. we get back to aladdin and wait for are shuttle bus to get us. are flight leaves at 1030 pm for newark then to Toronto for 1038 am sunday morning. For our first trip together and first plane ride and first trip to vegas we loved it and will be back soon. hope u liked the report, next time we are coming when she is not pregnant so she can drink too.

 

good report..do you remember where in the MGM where the majestic lions slots that you played? Were they together?

going on Sunday and was just curious...thanks in advance

We get now where we take a empty suitcase or bag to carry all of stuff that we aquired while there.

 

yes they were in the back end by the tables and they had 2 long rows of them.

Don't you just hate that when the person next to you is is always winning! I need to bring friends to sit by me and split the pots cause they are sure to win if they play next to me!!!
