Nice read, Mikey. Sorry about your losses, next trip should be back on the upswing. No smut included? Seems like a pretty mellow trip.

I read it again to make sure I didn't miss anything last night...... I'm still laughing picturing Eddie "classing it up" in his white socks.. [IMG]

I thought people were bringing out their digital cameras. Did everyone forget to take pictures? [IMG]

Mikey, you really know your way around a keyboard. As I was reading your trip report, the whole thing played out in my head like I was watching HBO.

    Hey Gang...

Thanks for all the kind words--I appreciate it! To answer a few questions:

I remember all of the details because I take a pen and pad with me, and spend a few minutes every day making notes and reviewing the day in my head. I also didn't drink nearly as much on Saturday, so I had a little extra reserve brain power going for me. I also jotted down little tidbits and one-liners and "color" whenever I thought about it while I was killing time at the airport.

As far as pictures go, I hadn't bought a digital camera yet, so I took none. Eddie brought a camera with him, but it sat on the dresser for the entire weekend. Hoya took one picture of me and Dane, but it's a little blurry, although it certainly gets the message across. She sent me some more of her and Dane, but told me she ran out of gas for taking photos about the middle of day ...

Yeah, I will be updating my site soon...It's just been crazy around these parts lately. It was much easier to work on my website everyday when I didn't have a full-time job.

Ok..waiting on trip reports from Jer, Hoya, and Heathcat...

    Mikey

PS... We'll set a date for March as soon as I find out the exact dates for the NCAA tournament.

Sounds like a good time was had by all. Maybe you should have borrowed Hoya from Mr. Hoya long enough to get your money back!!! [IMG] Sounds as though she was the good luck charm.
    Thanks for the fun report!

Boy am I a lucky man... Hoya wifey was nice enough to highlight a "Cliff Notes" version of Mikey's report for me. When reading I have the attention span of a fruit fly so Hoya made sure I did not miss any of the good parts.

I do have one observation to add. LV Club is the only place I have ever had a cocktail waitress bring me a drink for WATCHING someone else play the slots. What a great place. It was the Elvis game... I'm not sure if that makes a difference.

OK, maybe two observations. If you smile at a cocktail waitress while waking through LV Club, she just may pick her nose instead of smiling

It was an awesome read, thanks for sharing. It made me miss breakfast this morning but it was worth it. :D Gave me lots of ideas on things to look into and things to check out while I'm there.

Ok, Mikey, I'm printing it out! I might have to save it for my plane trip to LV (in 10 days! Yay! [IMG] ), though!

    Mikey,

Another awesome write up. Since I'm not going to get there this year, I always look forward to living vicariously through your reports.

By the way, the NCAA tournament first round starts on Thursday, March 18th.

So Hoya is good luck? I must keep that in mind when I book my next trip. If anyone is going in November please let me know I would love to get together. I am going ot be there from November 7th through the 15th.

Mikey you are a legend. Too bad the craps did not go well. Hopefully you will have better luck next time. No chance in a trip before March? I do not know what I will do with a trip report for so long of a time frame... :D

Good Job on the report, Mikey!

Sounds like the tables stayed about as cool as when I was there a few weeks earlier.

Looking forward to the addition viewpoints on the reports from the others!

    Great report!

I spent a lot of time holding the second place hand
That sounds like a classic poker phrase Mikey, put that one in the archives.

I also liked the reference to someone being dubbed the " Cousin Eddie" for the night!

Better luck next time on the gambling front though.
